Daniels restaurant is a gem in the heart of Moseley Village. Excellent home cooked food. If you are fed up of eating at chain restaurants this is the place for you. Very good prices. Well worth a visit

Daniel's food is lovely. Unfortunately our group's overall experience was spoilt by his inefficient front of house staff. They were slow with the drinks and served our gins with a full glass of tonic from a large bottle. We asked for a second bottle of wine which was not available! The bill was incorrect and a complete farce to correct.

Daniels never disappoints, all the finest of produce and service. We love dining here and will continue to do so. The best eatery in Moseley.

I have eaten at Daniels previously so chose to eat here for Father’s Day with a group of 6 of us. I was really disappointed with the meal. The service was friendly enough but due to the food sadly I have to say I wouldn’t return.

Such delicious food and service that wasn't rushed. I'd go back definitely. Intimate but laid back atmosphere. I'd recommend this restaurant. Great for vegetarians too.

Asked for pheasant, got chicken. Dishes were served only Luke warm. The restaurant was empty, no atmosphere. The wine list was poorly stocked. Very disappointing. Avoid at all costs.

The food was excellent, which is the main thing. The service was friendly and efficient. We were in the restaurant almost as soon as it opened on a Tuesday evening and were the only diners in there so it is difficulty to comment on the atmosphere; but we enjoyed ourselves nonetheless and will certainly go back there again.

Great food, really enjoyable evening. A few things on the menu and wine list were unavailable, despite the restaurant being pretty quiet. Will go back.

Lovely food, full of flavour and beautifully presented. Service a little slow but friendly. A couple of dishes on the menu weren't available nor the wine we wanted which was a little disappointing but there was plenty of other choice.

Went to Daniel's Saturday evening for a family meal for my birthday. Food was delicious as usual, it's always a special treat to come here. Service was excellent and the atmosphere very convivial - I think we were the last people to leave as usual!

Great food and great wine! Our service was a little slow but they gave us appetisers. A few things were missing of the menu, which was a shame but the rest of the food was great.

A very quiet Wednesday night in Daniels, but the meal and service were excellent. Our first time there, and we will go back. Beef and chicken were tender, and dessert (one shared between two of us) was superb.

It was a lovely atmosphere and delicious food. Great for a small group of friends. Daniel was very professional. However food arrived warm and not pipping hot.

Lovely venue.....very busy. The staff were a little disorganised in the fact that we didn't receive our bread/olives so a long time to wait to actually eat. The food overall was fabulous only one person had the steak and it was tough but we did let them know at the time.

Starter stated King Prawns- we got 4 tiny ones. There was a limited range of white wine in that they did not have it or only 1 bottle.Had run out of T Bone steak at 8 pm on a Friday night.Small portion of veg to share.Luckily there were 4 of us as our table was at back of restaurant on its own.We did not have a great time and will never return.

Visited Daniels Bistro on a Friday evening which was quiet, ambience might have been better with a few more customers. Really good, tasty food. Given an Amuse bouche of soup to start. Polite, professional service. Reasonably priced wine.

Quite tasty food and prompt service, but the combination of water melon, avocado purée and chilli prawns in the starter didn't really work, and my ballotine of chicken turned out to be a chicken breast. Very quiet on the Thursday we went; we were the only customers.

The food and wine was amazing at Daniels Bistro. The only fault was it lacked other diners which considering the quality of the food was very surprising. Staff excellent too

Excellent meal. Attentive service. Went on a "star deal" which gave two courses and a glass of Prosecco for £17.50 each. I have to say it was superb value for money. My plaice was poached to perfection, and my wife's pork was in the top bracket too by all accounts. A glass of Viognier and coffee rounded off a great evening. The only drawback was that it was a Tuesday night and only a few tables were occupied. More people in would have given a better ambience. You go for the food in the main though, and as I have said it could not be faulted. Will go back. Highly recommended.
