De Mezka Mediterranean & Bar is one of our favourite spots in Hoxton. It’s cosy and stylish with bare brickwork, ambient lighting and plenty of eclectic charm. To complement such style, De Mezka Hoxton offers a brunch menu, a dinner menu and a drinks menu, all of which are laced with quality. If you’re stopping by for dinner then you can expect grilled wraps and sandwiches as well as hot and cold meze-style dishes, classic Mediterranean mains and more fresh fish than you can shake a stick at. You’ll find De Mezka Hoxton on Pitfield Street and it’s one of our favourites in this part of London. Get involved.
How best to get to De Mezka Mediterranean & Bar? Your safest bet is Hoxton train station, naturally, but it’s also walkable from Old Street Underground or, if you fancy a stroll through Shoreditch first, Shoreditch High Street. Whatever your approach, upon arrival at De Mezka Hoxton there’ll be a warm welcome and a cosy embrace, irrespective of whether you’re in to eat or just to drink. In terms of drinks, classic cocktails and martinis are the name of the game at De Mezka Hoxton, all made with so much skill that you may shed a tear.
Aside from drinks, folk in Hoxton and Shoreditch know their area of London is one of the best when it comes to decent food, hence De Mezka Mediterranean & Bar doesn’t mess around when it comes to quality. Be prepared for some simple yet perfectly executed hot and cold meze to nibble and share, or, if you’re properly hungry, Mediterranean mains like the house special meatballs or the De Mezka Hoxton moussaka go down a storm. There are plenty of vegetarian and vegan options available as well meaning there’s very little not to love about this little London gem. Reservations essential.
