Great food as usual, service a bit slow, especially with the drinks, wasn’t too much of a problem for us though. Love this place.

The food here is presented fabulously, and it tastes lovely too. Just not much choice on a Sunday, four starter options and not generous on the portion. Other than that, very friendly atmosphere, good food, nice setting and professional set up

Lovely steak. However menu on website is very different from the lunch menu offered today. Service was extremely efficient and the restaurant was very clean. Would recommend a visit.

There were 3 in our party for a late lunch and two of us had the roast beef sandwich which was very nice, but my wife is a genuine ceoliac and she found the choice on the menu was limited (even with the gluten free bread option) as it is hardly ever very nice, so a few more dishes not using bread would have been helpful, but overall it was a good experience.

Good location easy to find. Nice out door seating. Lovely decor and furnishings inside. Food was delicious

Food and service were excellent. Christmas music loop rather short so repeated several times during our lunch! Choc mint or biscuit with coffee would have been nice. Will definitely return.

Not as good food as I have had previously on my many visits to the dewdrop, very disappointed!

Last lunch (not supper..) before Lockdown 2. It was a lovely experience- staff were attentive and friendly and the food was really good with generous portions. So we recommend the cod loin with prawn and smoky bacon risotto and various greens. Beautifully cooked fish with so tasty risotto. Dessert menu just a touch heavy with no lighter choices. Nevertheless enjoyed the white choc cheesecake and my friend the treacle pud. We look forward to the Dewdrop re-opening and once more being able to guarantee a good(plus) dining experience for appreciative customers.

Seriously .... we LOVED IT ! Nice atmosphere, really good service and seriously great food . We all ( 2 adults, 2 kids , birthday meal) thought it was one of the best meals out we have had. If you are thinking of going .... definitely do !

Our first visit to the Dewdrop was an excellent one, having heard lots of good reviews. The service was great from start to finish, including ordering a taxi for us and making sure we had all our belongings. The service was prompt, friendly and comprehensive. It’s a lovely venue, welcoming, cosy and comfortable. The range of food is good and the quality was outstanding, especially the smoked cheddar rosti, duck confit and salted caramel creme brulee. We definitely recommend the Dewdrop and it’s staff, who clearly take pride in their service and the experience they provide. The choice of background music was ok but I would have preferred something softer... that’s the only thing I would change and that’s being picky!

Pleasant ambience, good food, good service - what more could you want? A very pleasant evening out celebrating our daughter's birthday. Everybody well satisfied including 2 teenagers, 2 40somethings and Gran and Grandad! Thank you all the staff at the Dewdrop Inn.

Nicely cooked starters and mains and lovely pannacota. Choice of al carte items reduced since last going in February but still fine.

food was good but only 1 small seabass fillet and chunky chips were too chunky and a little over cooked

Great, personal service and absolutely wonderful food!! We arrived early but our table was ready, the restaurant doesn't appear to turn tables so your table is yours for the whole evening if you wish, which makes a visit unhurried and very pleasant. Waiting staff are attentive without being intrusive. The food is glorious, a real treat! Altogether a lovely evening and we will definitely be visiting again.
