We all had a wonderful experience from the moment we arrived until leaving. The food was excellent, the service was quick and efficient. Azolo and his colleagues were all so pleasant. The ambiance was fantastic and it was easy to understand why it was so busy.

I AM A REGULAR THERE AND HAVE NO PROBLEMS WITH THEM. i CAN ALWAYS GET A TABLE AT SHORT NOTICE, EARLY IN THE EVENING.

It is the second time we have used the Dewdrop and on both occasions it has been a very good and enjoyable experience

One of our party ordered Chicken with dauphinoise potatoes which came in an unattractive block! When we queried whether or not this was the potatoes as described on the menu they assured us it was but the chef cooks the potatoes in cream and then compresses them to cut into neat squares! Not very attractive and completely altering the attraction of the meal. Looked like a Wiltshire Farm meal for the elderly!

Room 8 is up a steep narrow flight of stairs in a small annexe. 3 beds in room. Smallest shower room I’ve ever seen. No drawers in room. No dressing table. No shelves in bathroom for my toiletries. No hooks in bathroom for dressing gown or to put towel near sink or shower. Close to road so very noisy.

We were overcharged on our bill. Food was tasty. This was sorted but if we did not go through the bill we wouldn’t of known. Saying that lovely pub great place for a drink and a bite to eat! Will be coming back for more

The Dewdrop is one of our favourite places for Sunday Lunch and during the week. Azolo and his staff are lovely and you always get a warm welcome. The food is delicious the wine good and reasonably priced the staff great and the ambiance very relaxing.

This was my fifth visit and cannot wait to go again.

Excellent food especially the fish dish of the day. Haddock and chips was to die for and the medium rare lamb excellent. Service friendly and efficient and a good atmosphere.

Very friendly and professional staff (but not intrusive). Everything was provided in our room. We were extremely comfortable and enjoyed being able tstep directly from our room out into the garden through the patio door. Dinner was superb. We'll executed dishes from a short menu. Breakfast was great too - no smoked haddock or kippers ( I guess that's just my preference) but plenty of everything else you could possibly want for breakfast. Again, service and attention to detail were impressive (good staff training in place). Definitely visit again.

A peasant evening in nice surroundings, good food and good service

We had Sunday lunch. The food was excellent, the waiting staff very attentive and helpful and the restaurant was full of happy smiling faces. My wife is gluten intolerant and there were plenty of GF options for her to enjoy.

Two of our party ordered from the main menu - the food was very good. Another family member ordered from the set menu. Her meal was a very small portion (like a starter). It does not state on the menu that the set menu portions are smaller than the main menu! Disappointing. Though when she complained the staff did bring more food for her.
