We went to Don Claudio for my birthday it was very enjoyable and the food was very good service was good will go there again

Wonderful lunch with family. As usual food was exquisite and service excellent. Our birthday guest was made to feel very special!

Food, service and atmosphere is exceptional in this traditional Italian restaurant. Specials board is always interesting and desserts amazing. Definitely recommend!

Good food - sensibly sized meals - good service - we ate downstairs which was a trifle cramped - quite pricey so loses one point. But try it out. One of the better restaurants in Pompey...

Thoroughly enjoyed the evening out with my girlfriend. The food was delicious and there was a nice variety. The two of us would definitely go again!

The food was very good and the Staff were cheerful and very polite. The only 2 negative points was the 1 hour wait for our food and not being asked if we required any additional drinks.

The meal was absolutely delicious and wonderfully varied, which suited us very well given we were a large group. As it was Christmas, the restaurant was beautifully decorated and it had a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The staff were friendly and obliging. We couldn't have had a better time. We would highly recommend.

Nice atmosphere and very enjoyable food. we ordered Lasagne which was very good. We look forward to visiting again in the near future as experience was surprisingly good.

Very warm welcome, excellent authentic Iatalian food. I recommend the ravioli (like fluffy clouds!), calzone and tiramisu, also plenty of limoncello. Can't believe we haven't found this place before, we will definitely be returning.

Our table was ready on time. My friend and I had delicious sea bass. The staff were efficient and charming. What more could we want?

Attentive friendly staff with delicious authentic Italian food; what more do you need?!? My only criticism would be that the table we were sat at was right by the open door of the kitchen which interfered with the ambiance

Great menu, lots of options, amazing food, friendly and attentive staff. The lunch deal was great value for money as was the main menu. Drinks were a little expensive. I was surprised how quiet it was there, I will be recommending it to friends and visiting again.

Very small inside food good got very hot as kitchen at the back staff good over all quite good very little space between tables not for us

This was the second visit to Don Claudio and we will certainly be back! Excellent food, friendly and efficient service and a great atmosphere !

The main restaurant is quite small and the greeting is friendly and warm. The menu has typical dishes Carbanara, Bolognese and Risotto. They also do a great range in Pizzas so they cater for all ages. Good sized dishes but don't expect a la cart. It is nice food and down to earth. Staff are friendly and chatty, wine is good too. For me it is ideal midweek supper.

Very friendly and helpful. We were given a table downstairs and thought upstairs had more atmosphere. Food was good and we would come back again

Fantastic food and great service! I booked a table online at 7:33pm and arrived at 8pm and we were greeted at the door with a big welcoming smile! We will definitely go back again 👍

The restaurant staff could not be more welcoming but the giid was not up to scratch We received the wrong dish and the risotto was hard. They did apologise but not a good first impression

Excellent welcome, ambience, food and service. A very authentic Italian restaurant serving first class food, i can't fault it. I hope this place never changes.
