London’s Yoshiaki represents change, a vision of a different way of life, and the cultivation of uniqueness. At Yoshiaki on Rupert Street in Soho, The Nikkei restaurant and bar is set on attractive split-level surroundings and offers a wide range of Japanese and Peruvian cuisine. Not just that, the mixologists here have created an extensive list of cocktails using curious spirits and Japanese whiskies. Featuring it's own DJ, this restaurant between Piccadilly Circus and Leicester Square tube stations opens for pre-theatre and continues throughout the evening, delivering a vibrant atmosphere. Whether for a romantic evening out, or to celebrate a special occasion, Yoshiaki will definitely exceed your expectations.
Incredible food- very well presented and delicious. Had 3 courses and a cocktail for £25. Staff were very accommodating and friendly. Would definstely go back again!
It's a nice place, very overrated - inapproppriate music more like club environment (don't forget it's a part from Distrikt). Limited menu - if you want real Japanese atmosphere you will be a bit disappointed
Only cold food available. Put a downer on things as we had visitors and planned to have a nice hearty meal.
Yoshiaki distinguishes itself by virtue of its first-rate hospitality team, the glamorous dining and nightlife spaces housed inside its Rupert Street address, and its multi-concept program of entertainment and gastronomic experiences. The restaurant is laid out over split-level surroundings that are moodily lit in proper Soho fashion and scattered with eye-catching design flourishes. The kitchen begins work for the pre-theatre crowd (Yoshiaki is the ideal West End and London theatreland pre- and post-show venue) and continues into the night with a focus on Japanese and Peruvian charcoal-grilled dishes. It’s a favourite among diners looking for a romantic rendezvous or larger parties wanting to find a host for a special occasion.
Attached to Yoshiaki’s restaurant is the jaw-dropping Lounge, a late-night entertainment venue spread out over two-levels and playing host to a multitude of musical acts and club nights (and welcoming a dazzling array of A-listers through the doors). Whether you go for the Japanese and Peruvian fusion food, a cocktail full of class, the rub shoulders with the eminences of Soho nightlife – or all of the above – Yoshiaki is one restaurant, bar, and all-round entertainment hotspot where reservations are absolutely essential!
