Lovely food and good service. Very busy for a Tuesday, glad we booked!

We had guests from out of town who enjoyed the whole meal. While I have dined there in the past it was a new experience for them and they will return.

Made a last minute booking online with no problem. Arrived seated quickly. Service was excellent as usual. We both ordered the steak baguette with chips and salad . Food was delicious ,thank for the a great service provided from all staff . see yous again soon x

Food was bland. Surprised as has been very good before. Saturday evening meal and sat beside a young child at next table who was very loud and parents did nothing to control him. Ruined our meal and for everyone else in the place.

We were the last of three couple in but I have been there before. I was in a nice corner if I have any criticism it would be that it needed a little more light. Staff very friendly and happy to help.

Evening meal on the 3rd January to get over daughter's return abroad to work after being home for Christmas. Chicken burger was first class, however vegan macaroni wasn't up to the standard it used to be. Bit disappointed but would return to enjoy other dishes (just not the vegan macaroni).

Lovely surroundings with the harbour across the road, very friendly staff, food is amazing, very reasonable prices, take bank cards or cash , love this place.

Ordered scrambled egg on toast, the scrambled egg clearly done in a microwave very bland and lying in a pool of liquid, if you are paying for an item to be cooked it should be at least cooked not microwaved!! Also the bacon was bipolar some of the fat was rendered and some was the polar opposite as in raw!! It was nice for the drinks to be removed for the bill even tho I had no drink! Had to refuse to pay for food, such a shame as this used to be a good little place

The batter on both the tempura and fish and chips was underdone 🙈 it really needed to be crispy before it was served but we were going to a show so I didn't have time to wait longer It was a busy night but that's no excuse really

The ambience was festive and the Christmas menu was quite extensive, with many choices available to suit all tastes. I had the haggis starter which was very tasty, followed by the braised steak for the main course. The meat was cooked to perfection and the accompanying root veggies complimented the meat. My friend and l were stuffed after two courses and opted for coffee to finish off our meal. We thoroughly enjoyed our Christmas Lunch.
