Ordered scrambled egg on toast, the scrambled egg clearly done in a microwave very bland and lying in a pool of liquid, if you are paying for an item to be cooked it should be at least cooked not microwaved!! Also the bacon was bipolar some of the fat was rendered and some was the polar opposite as in raw!! It was nice for the drinks to be removed for the bill even tho I had no drink! Had to refuse to pay for food, such a shame as this used to be a good little place

The batter on both the tempura and fish and chips was underdone 🙈 it really needed to be crispy before it was served but we were going to a show so I didn't have time to wait longer It was a busy night but that's no excuse really

The ambience was festive and the Christmas menu was quite extensive, with many choices available to suit all tastes. I had the haggis starter which was very tasty, followed by the braised steak for the main course. The meat was cooked to perfection and the accompanying root veggies complimented the meat. My friend and l were stuffed after two courses and opted for coffee to finish off our meal. We thoroughly enjoyed our Christmas Lunch.

A special treat before a Concert next door. Efficient personable friendly service from moment we entered. Cajun salmon perfectly flaky and melt in the mouth flesh with rice and beautiful sauce hit all the right notes with us and vegetable dislikes accommodated with delicious replacements! I regularly dine at Duncans because I feel they cater well for all dietary requirements. My daughter and grandson were visiting over the weekend and this was their 1st visit to Duncans. My 3 yr old grandson is dairy intollerant and my daughter is gluten free. All their dietary needs were fully met with ease and the food was delicious. Thanku to all the staff at Duncans.

We were a party of 5 who spent a lovely Saturday in Duncans. All good apart from the small portion size of the chicken in coconut sauce with rice meals. They were very small for adults, especially in comparison to the macaroni dish, which was delicious.

Always good experience at Duncans bistro. Pleasant service. Food well cooked, see bass dish delicious. Reasonably priced compared to many. Ideal for meal nd drinks prior to gig in HAC theatre.

Lovely food although the chicken tempura was a little greasy. The side order of chips was very poor value for money, get more in a McDonalds small bag!! Friend had salmon salad starter, very nice.
