Very friendly atmosphere and the tapas were good too. The house Rioja was pleasant and good value. Why do I have to write 25 words?
Delicious Spanish food - either as main course or tapas, with a warm welcome. Being a winter Tuesday,, the restaurant was fairly empty Well worth searching out if passing through the area - we will definitely return
Fabulous food, the most amazing Paella and friendly service! The menu has everything you could ask for from a proper Spanish tapas restaurant, and tasty wines. I will definitely be going back!
Very nice lunch, excellent service. My chicken dish contained too much garlic for my taste. My wife had a sole dish which she really enjoyed. Our starters were very good.
Food, service, atmosphere all excellent. went with 2 friends we were all made very welcome, had a meal from a set menu which had a good choice of starters/mains etc.
Great food maybe lacking a little atmosphere but it was lunchtime and only 2 of us. Would definitely go back but next time in the evening.
This was our first visit to El Rincon but it won't be the last. We were greeted at the door with a cheery 'hola' and handshakes before the four of us were seated. The menu is extensive and was well explained by the manager/owner and at his suggestion we each chose three tapas dishes. The quality of the food and service is excellent and our lunch was nicely rounded off by a great selection of desserts and coffee. We look forward to our next visit.
We had a fabulous evening. Lovely tasty food & great service. The Owner was extremely helpful with suggesting how many tapas dishes we should select. Highly recommend & will definitely go back there. 😊😊
Good food & service. Very buzzy on a wet Thursday evening. Nice choice of tapas dishes and an adequate wine list.vey attentive & friendly service
Overall quality was average although the restaurant was very busy so obviously with locals as there is nothing else around. Despite asking what quantities of wine they had in stock before choosing what we wanted they only had two bottles of the particular wine which meant having to change wines during the meal - there was a group of us.
Wonderful family run restaurant. This was our 1st time. Food great we had tapas Already planning out next visit so that we can try À la carte menu.
Excellent food and attentive friendly staff made it a good night out. Thoroughly recommend. The restaurant had good atmosphere and the choice of midweek menu was excellent and varied. Will be back very soon.
Warm welcome from the staff. There was a good choice of food on a reasonably priced set menu. A wide range of Spanish background music playing.
An excellent meal - the sauces in particular were very good. The service also was very good - friendly without being intrusive. I would most definitely recommend this restaurant to others
I found my visit a bit disappointing sadly. the Paella was not very tasteful and was not very hot. the staff were very attentive and kind but the food let it all down.
Lovely restaurant, authentic tapas, great service, yummy food!! Pudding was a must!! For something not so obvious we had a really lovely evening, will definitely be back!
Received a very friendly welcome and service was equally so throughout. Food was great and whole experience relaxing. Background noise was not invasive and it was possible to hold a covesation without having to raise one's voice.
Great lunch, enjoyed by all three of us. Good friendly service. We had tapas which I have not had there before. Kidneys as good as always
Excellent food & service. Good 3 coarse set meal Mon-Thurs at £21.95. Starters: Mussels in white wine sauce & mushrooms in a creamy sauce both served with fresh baked bread. 2nd coarse: tiger prawns & rice - Excellent large succulent prawns & a very nice vegetarian option with excellent crisp sauté potatoes. Followed by an excellent lemon cheesecake with single cream All washed down with an Award winning red Navarra bottle of wine. Restaurant is tucked away but well worth the search.
Excellent food and wine - very friendly service. Plenty of choice on the menus and good to have the owner's knowledge of Spanish food when making choices!
Very friendly owner. Nice atmosphere. Easy booking nice and local for me so could walk there. Very good food although bit too greasy Overall good evening with friends
Attentive service. Good choice on a set menu and reasonably priced. Food was very good, tasty and freshly cooked. Calves liver and kidneys always a welcome choice. Tapas menu also available.
Very good evening, very nice food. Tapas especially good. Staff lovely, welcoming and the atmosphere is nice too.
treated very well, very good food, great staff knowledgeable on the different types of food they serve and what the foods that were the best t eat,
Warm hospitality with great food. My wife is lactose intolerant & they were able to adapt the menue - nothing was too much problem for the chef & serving staff. We would definitely go back again.
WE had a lovely relaxed evening at El Ricon - good food, relaxed environment and brilliant service. A family run Spanish restaurant which is highly recommended.
This is a restaurant in the true family tradition. It is run my two Spanish brothers, Carlos, front of house/waiter and Jose Antonio (known as Joe), the chef. Service is prompt, friendly and extremely helpful. The food is well prepared, fresh and nicely presented. This is a must to visit.
