Fabulous setting, lovely food. Service was a little slow otherwise would have given it 6. A great chill out place. Harry the owner is always welcoming too.

food excellent. My only comment is that ,if served in a bowl, goulash pieces should be smaller as they were difficult to cut and too large to eat whole. Service pleasant and attentive. I found the music quite unpleasant. even though they turned it down. not restful eating music

This is a lovely converted building with an away-from-it-all feeling. Four frielnds visited for a late lunch and all of us enjoyed different main courses from the small but attractive menu. Puddings were also sampled with the Chocolate Fondant winning generous praise. Slightly distracted staff (there was a large event planned that evening) were knowledgable and polite but just short of friendly - hence the score of 5 rather than 6. That said we will definitely visit again when we are in the area.

Excellent meal, good service, pleasant staff. Would recommend lunch at Springs to anyone - 3 courses or less or even a sanwich - your choice.

We had breakfast ,the full Clwydian not quite as good as we've had there in the past! The locally made black pudding sat underneath the tomato and was barely visible , the fried bread which was there in the past has disappeared , and it came with poached eggs 'the more healthy option' but it would have been nice to be given the choice . All that said its still enjoy going To Llanrhaeadr Spa for the friendly atmosphere and warm welcome . David , Ruthin

Good tasty food and well presented. Perfect location. Staff were very accommodating and polite. Good options on the menu for food intolerances but had to double check on one occasion as an ingredient I couldn't eat was served on my plate but I just asked and they were quick to check ingredients. This has happened before so if you have any dietary requirements, just double check if you do go. To be fair, I could have called beforehand to make things easier. Still very tasty and would return without doubt. Enough options on the menu to suit most people and budgets. Sandwiches were delicious and main meals just as nice if you wanted to spend a bit more. Good location. Easy to park. Beautiful setting with views of the Clwydian Range. Dining room was busy enough but very quiet and it was easy to hear other people's conversations at first. The tables are just a little bit too close together to be able to have a private conversation with someone. However, they turned up the background music and that was much better. As it got busier, it was much more comfortable. Worth a visit and I for one shall return most definitely and possibly take advantage of the Spa as well. Over all it was very good and definitely worth a visit.

Had delicious freshly made soup accompanied by open sandwich of rare roast beef and pickles. Coffee is always excellent and fresh. Staff always make my friend and me feel welcome to this modern yet sensitively restored restaurant in what used to be a an old stabling facility in a beautiful rural setting.

Lovely setting in the Vale of Clwyd. The food is excellent but don't go if you are in a hurry. Very relaxed with good wine to oil conversation with friends. The cream of vegetable soup was out of this world followed by coley and crab. I've been three times now and will certainly return.

This was our first visit to the Dining Room and it was a spur of the moment decision to select this venue for an informal lunch. We were pleased with the service, the environment, lunch menu and the quality and presentation of the food. We plan to go for dinner another time.

Our wedding anniversary meal at the Springs was exceptional. From start to finish the standard of the experience exceeded any we have had in any other restaurants. The venue offered an intimate dining experience with superior quality food which was Michelin star* standard. Live music and cocktails followed. Can't wait to return! By far the best eatery in Wales!

9.00am Saturday morning ! Greeted by the friendly Chef Garrant , we were 1/2hr early but he was quite happy to tend to us personally , we gave him our order he went away organised a member of staff from the Spa to make us a pot of tea and he returned 20 minutes later with what I would say is the best Clwydian Breakfast I've ever had ! All freshly prepared local produce Black Pudding , Bacon and sausage from Williams the Denbigh Butcher , local farm Eggs , freshly baked granary Toast and melt in the mouth Fried bread as well ! Topped with fresh mushrooms "oh" and a separate ramekin of Baked Beans for the purists who don't want there Beautiful Breakfast contaminated by Beans! All this and friendly staff for the Grand Total of £7.45p plus a pot of tea . We will be back to give Sunday Lunch a try . David Sutton

Attention to detail was poor, we were shown into the restaurant by a waiter who then pointed to a table and saying that's your table by the wall. Starters - pea & ham soup was tasteless, salmon with hens egg - hens egg was tasty, salmon was not. Main courses - venison and fillet steak were okay. Waiters wore white gloves, which even the top Michelin star restaurants stopped doing in the 1980's. Fine dining it is not. Had a much better meal at a nearby Gastro pub!

The standard of this restaurant and service is what you would expect in London or Paris, not in the little village of Llanhaeadre. The food is beautifully cooked and presented and the cocktails are delicious too! 10 out of 10 for great service, nothing is too much trouble!
