Table not ready when we arrived and initially staff not very welcoming. However the service was fine once we were seated. Burgers pricy but very good quality and generous portion with tasty chips and garnishes and well presented. Sea bass was a good choice. Overall an enjoyable meal.

The restaurant serves lovely food, has a nice atmosphere and pleasant staff - great prices on a Monday too! I would definitely come here again.

Very pleasant setting and the meal was delightful. Good quantities and very well set out. It's not a venue if you have mobility issues......... lots of steps.

Fab food and fab service in great surroundings what more can you want? Trouble is I have to write more due to silly computer programme

Lovely meal good service Will return. Went with my family for my birthday and we really enjoyed it . The steaks were particularly nice and all well presented

Great atmosphere, great food. 241 on cocktails which were delicious, but you had to wait a long time to be served as only one person on at the bar. The bartender was very good though and always knew who had been waiting the longest.

I went with my partner last week. We had the steak which is amazing 👌🏽. It has a great atmosphere and all the staff are brilliant!

Amazing roast dinner with crunchy varied veg, huge Yorkshire pudding and lashings of gravy. Lovely surroundings and reasonable price. Good kids menu too kept a 4 yr old happy.

Great food, had the pulled pork burger and some calamari for starter, good atmosphere over all. Lovely chef, came round to check everyone enjoyed their food.

We all really enjoyed our meal at 50/50. The food, service and atmosphere were all fab and as we were able to take advantage of the Monday night special menu it was excellent value for money

I booked a table of 6 for my 25th birthday and we arrived, ordered some cocktails that took 20 minutes to arrive only to be told that we could not have anymore of that particular one as there were no more raspberries but some appeared on a dessert an hour later! We got told there was a delay on drinks as the bar was busy,there was about 10 people in it! The food was nice but the chef decided to tell a member of staff off in front of our table which was very unprofessional. There was no effort made to say it was a birthday,I got told if I ordered a dessert they would of put a candle in it.. The waitress was slow and unenthusiastic. You can have nice food but if there is no customer service people will not return. Not the experience I wanted on my birthday. I left very unhappy and embarrassed I had told my friends that it would be really good if we went there! Oh and we got told there was no mayo, londis next door was open and nobody thought to go there

Great food and restaurant. Good menu choices and good service. Only let down was the specials weren't pointed out. That said, overall, I would recommend and we'll be back!

Excellent food at a very reasonable price. The children loved the pizzas and I loved the tempura prawns

Great food and service but had run out of a quite a few things with it being a bank holiday monday and running a monday offer.

Very good food and service. Nice, friendly atmosphere. Only negative - metal chairs very uncomfortable after an hour or so! We will certainly eat her again

This restaurant is my favourite place for Sunday dinner. The roast beef is cooked to perfection and so tender! Proper Yorkshire Puddings and served with all the trimmings!

I never usually post reviews but the quality of the food and standard of service at 50/50 was so exceptional that I have to share our experience. We were a party of eleven and were dining at the same time as another large party both with young children to cater for. All of the food came out promptly and and was absolutely delicious. Hats off to the chef, seriously! It was a busy service but the staff couldn't do enough for you and were really friendly and good natured. And I got a pleasant surprise when the bill arrived. Excellent value for money. Thank you 50/50 for a wonderful evening celebrating my little boy's birthday.

Food delicious, ambience very good and good value for money. Hard to chose as so many options I would have liked (specials board choices very tempting) I even wrote down the name of the wine I had as it was so good, intend to buy some for the weekend. Ways to improve: meeting and greeting not very good on arrival, trouble with tills -cannot get a tab at the bar then carry it downstairs to the restaurant so had to pay the drinks bill in cash. invited to go down to the restaurant and then abandoned (stood in middle of restaurant looking a bit silly - staff very apologetic after). In the middle of eating delicious ribs the tables to the side of us were cleaned and liberally sprayed which did not improve the flavour of the lovely bourbon sticky ribs (or indeed my sinuses). will definitely come back but hoping there will be an improvement in staff training. Good food is only half the dining out experience, you will be remembered longer for the welcome and service than the food... that said during our meal staff were very attentive so didn't get it completely wrong. hope the review helps

Lovely atmosphere and excellent food from varied menu. My score would have been a six but the chips were just a touch soggy for me. Couldn't fault anything else and we had a lovely evening

Yet again fantastic food from Darren and his staff, the service is first class and friendly . Would recommend this restaurant a must visit to anyone (brilliant )

Varied menu. Well presented & tasty food. Daily specials available too. Very pleasant & efficient staff. BOGOF on drinks on Thursdays is very popular so book early!

Quality and quantity of food excellent. A bit noisy because we were near kitchen and a lot of banging and clattering - but it was a busy Saturday night !

The food was great, well cooked flavoursome with delicious salads. It follows the current trend for burnt food, with charred this and smoked that. To my mind the menu is too big, but I suppose it's more choice. The only disappointment was the service, which was a bit flat. Not unfriendly, just not friendly.

Extremely varied menu made choosing quite difficult. Food of very good quality and staff were excellent. Good and busy ambiance - would definitely try again and have already recommended to others.

The food was good and the staff friendly, although it is a small restaurant. We had a lovely girls meal out and would recommend Fifty50.

Boston spa is a buzzing friendly village and a great place to spend the weekend thanks to places like fifty50 They have a great selection of quality food served by friendly staff The owners john, simon and chef Darren, have really put their energy into combining a vibrant contemporary restaurant (where you can hear yourself speak) yet with a buzzing bar above. Best of both worlds..... And great value lunches also. Highly recommended.

Lovely Mother's Day meal. Incredible value for two fantastic dishes, including an amazing roast. Waffle and ice cream was to die for whilst the service was excellent too!
