Initial greeting from staff was good. Our table was the first near opening of the front door, which we turned down. We were given seats upstairs which were ok. Our starter was garlic prawns with parsley sauce - where was the garlic - dish in need of garlic to bring out the wow flavour. Main was chicken and mushroom sauce - mother tells me it was delicious and my salmon with spinach was ok - salmon slice was too small. All in all - dinner was ok. Service was great. I would give it a second visit.

The spaghetti carbonara was superb. The veal porcini was great but the mashed potatoes were a little bit lumpy. But overall the meal was great.

The veal escalope was very over cooked and very hard to cut My wife asked not to have mash potatoes in her meal but it turned up on her plate

The staff serving tonight were phenomenal, both were friendly and attentive to all of our needs food and drink wise. Our meals came out quickly, were delicious and fresh. The atmosphere was excellent and we felt relaxed and unrushed even after we’d paid our bill. Absolutely brilliant evening on all counts.

Great experience. The food was really good, the prices for the service are pretty reasonable. And in this day and age of everything fast, I really enjoyed the crispy white table cloths and linen napkins. Highly recommend.

Good food. Staff were lovely, but we did have the restaurant to ourselves (Friday lunch time). My friend and I were able to spend 3 hours chatting away without feeling we were being rushed.
