Fora – City of London

For me, its one of the best restaurants in the city. Food and service was excellent. I was in a party of ten and we all said its one place we all wanted to return to.

Great food and service. Better guidance on the menu from staff would be helpful. The music was annoying (too much pop type music, also too loud for a business conversation context).

Food and service were excellent. We enjoyed the city menu which is such good value and good options. Great Turkish restaurant and I'm a repeat customer.

As always, another lovely meal at Fora. Food is cooked well and presented beautifully. So amazing to find somewhere with such good value in the heart of the City. Excellent staff and service, but it was a bit busy on this occasion, so not 100% this time. Looking forward to coming back!

Excellent restaurant. Food was delicious and very generous portions, service was quick and friendly. Atmosphere was nice as well, quiet live music in the background made it very enjoyable.

Went to Flora on the 8th December 2017 with our staff for a Christmas meal and had a great time. Atmosphere, staff and Food were 1st class. Will definitely go back and use it as a place to take clients. I recommend this place very highly.

Food at Fora always very good. Can get really busy but what good eating place with attentive and smiley staff can't? It's now my go-to place in the City.

food was amazing and good flavours . ordering process was a bit difficult not everything we ordered turned up. would definitely recommend the healthy meal menu

Brilliant Food, four of us had the set menu two courses. The service was also brilliant as per usual, we will defo. be returning to Fora.

lovely food. no music... lights were turned up and down whole of our meal so lost that romantic atmosphere. service was slow too. iv been here for 6years and this was the only time its not been great... will still be returning as i know what this place is like.

A super experience from the warm welcome to the quality of food served. A pleasure to dine at this restaurant aided by the fact it is an ideal location close to Aldgate Tube station.

Lovely restaurant, food was full of flavour and staff were friendly and attentive enough without being over bearing. Took a little time between courses but we liked that as you have time to digest and chat. Will definitely be going back.

Hi, the food is usually great but your staff needs to learn to deal with special requirements. The only thing I cannot eat are peppers: red, yellow, green. I have expressly asked the waiter if there are any fresh peppers in the side vegetables to the Lamb adana kofta. She's promised to remove/not to put them in. She brought the food with them, placed my plate on my colleague's side; then swapped, then I have pointed out that there are plenty of peppers in my vegetables; she apologized me and took my plate to the kitchen to remove them. But it appeared then that she/chef simply took the pepper bits out and left the same vegetables. My stomach cannot stand the smell of peppers but I was left with the vegetables with a strong smell of peppers. Could not eat them at all. And also felt awkward in front of the colleague.

Lovely food. Staff could of been more attentive but overall would return and recommend to friends. Hummus with lamb was very well cooked. Would also recommend the mixed seafood.

The food was excellent and very good value. Very good service on a busy day for the restaurant. Would definitely consider again in the future.

Fora never disappoints. Serves fantastic food at a very reasonable price. Generous portions and the Mixed grill, anything with lamb really, is to die for.

A lovely meal - restaurant quite busy though which significantly increased the background noise level. Service was first class, effecient and friendly; I would go back and certainly recommend to friends.

Te food was nice at Fora but the service was not great, slow to come and take our order and not very prompt on drinks either.

Great place, great service, great food and entertainment. The restaurant accommodate 25+ people with no issues. We had some fantastic red wine and a little bit of Mediterranean dancing.

Came here on a Friday night, wasn't busy apart from a few tables but still had a nice atmosphere. Food was amazing. Live music was a nice touch. Reasonable prices too. Would highly recommend.

Very good food and because they have a closed kitchen you don't come out smelling of eau de kebab :). Friendly staff and excellent service. Definitely going back there.

Good food & good service every time. We sat in window & it seemed a little noisier there than in the comfort of the booths but still a pleasant experience.

Menu is decent spread. We had vegetarians, muslims (halal), special diet and everyone had something to order and enjoyed. Staff are helpful in choosing. Can get busy at lunch time.

Fantastic as always! Great food and good service. We go there quite often and usually opt for the 'Healthy meal'. This gives a good range of food (too much if anything!) and is very good value.

Nice food and friendly staff although rather quiet on a Thursday evening. Drinks slightly pricey although similar to other restaurants in the area. We would go back for the food.

Staff are very attentive and friendly. The food is good quality Turkish and the restaurant décor is of a good standard. Pricing is reasonable. Would recommend.
