We booked a meal with Fort Raj for my brother's pre-wedding celebrations. We had a party of 9 and they couldn't have been more hospitable and the food was delicious - very well balanced seasoning. Couldn't have asked for more.

On the whole we really enjoyed the meal but one of our party had to send the food back twice due to undercooked chicken and ended up not eating at all. We were offered shots but refused this and after complaining eventually were offered a discount on the bill.

Lovely meal always and very happy to veganise food for us. The staff are exceptionally nice and helpful.

Food was excellent. The best Indian food I have eaten in the local area. The restaurant has a modern feel. ( I liked the fact that there were no table cloths. ) Will definitely return.

Totally wonderful food and great service. It is by far the best Indian restaurant in Dorset and would compete very well against some famous ones in London. Go sample it. You will love it!

Fort Raj did not disappoint, as a regular Deliveroo customer we expected the food to be of great quality and they did not let us down. Chicken was cooked to perfection, not over cooked what so ever. The Sag Aloo was to die for, honestly cannot recommend highly enough.

The food was excellent, with an imaginative and distinctive menu. The dishes are very well presented The restaurant was relatively quiet but it was a Tuesday.

Had an amazng time again at Fort Raj. There were six of us, including two young children. We were felt very welcome, the service was friendly but professional and despite being a busy evening, we didn't have to wait for our delicious food, which is critical with kids! The food was superb. We had a variety of dishes and all were cooked to perfection. The Goan prawn curry is a winner, any time! Just love that place!
