Beautiful restaurant and the food was excellent. Had the tapas and loved everything. Will definitely be going back and would recommend to anyone for a lovely meal.

Had a lovely time with my 91 year old mum. The restaurant had anserrrd my query in advance about accessibility and found me a suitable table. The food was delicious and the service attentive but not overbearing. There were enough staff to always catch their attention if I needed someone. Lovely modern surrounding.

Food was Luke warm, but the atmosphere and staff were friendly. Told staff about the food but nothing was done. Restaurant was not busy at the time

Lovely place and ambience but my steak was so over cooked i couldn’t cut into it! I wasn’t charged for it it was so bad.

Great place with comfy seats & nice music,fantastic food & great service.Couldn’t fault it,it’s a must place to visit for anybody wanting a great meal or a nice chilled drink.

Great choice of food - we really enjoyed the tapas and the smoked platter (could have done with a dipping sauce though). My wife enjoyed a few cocktails for her birthday. Staff were really good too!

Had the Xmas menu 2 courses for £16.50 was delicious. Lovely decor, friendly waitress, will definitely return. Big choice of drinks and alternative menu to the Xmas one available. Something for everyone

Nice and clean, chef sent my starter out wrong twice but sent apologies. Tables were a little too close to each other so could hear other people’s conversations, all staff were friendly staff. A little disappointed as restaurant came as highly recommended. Just a little deflated as my hubby had finished his starter by the time my correct starter arrived. But meals were tasty and reasonably priced.

Table booked for 5.45pm. Note on table when we arrived saying table required again for next booking at 7.30pm, so to make sure finished. Thought this was not good at all as we felt we had to rush to get out !!! Spent £32+ on meal and a soft drink. Would have liked not to have been pressured. Food was very nice, but come on, stop rushing people !!!!

Nicely styled restaurant, friendly helpful staff. Great food. Good value too would definitely go back. Cockermouth is a very nice town to visit and have a wander too.

Service was excellent. We enjoyed our food which was reasonably priced. Somewhat surprised by the use of tinned peaches in the mess desert, but enjoyable none the less.

Frederick’s was recommended by a friend and I was not disappointed. Speedy service from friendly staff and nicely cooked food means we will be back.

Delicious food; the hake was particularly good; lovely surroundings, superb customer service (the guys were excellent) . It just gets better and better every time we go.

We had the tapas and really enjoyed them, the selection was a bit different from the usual Spanish types. Staff were friendly and helpful. Overall enjoyed it.

Really good food and Great live entertainment. Lovely friendly staff. New potatoes and sticking toffee pudding were highlights. We will definatly be returning again soon.

Great menu with lots of choice. Staff really friendly and helpful. The building has plenty of room and seating is comfortable. Would recommend as a place to visit when in Cockermouth.

Excellent service and food is second to none. A’ la carte quality for reasonable prices. We have eaten here a number of times and would recommend to anyone. Atmosphere and decor is perfect for any occasion.

Friendly staff serving tasty, well presented food in a very smart and modern restaurant & bar. Nice to be able to do Tapas or mains or a mix of both.

Super restaurant with super service and good value. Was perfect for a quick early evening pizza with family after fun at Maryport Cave at the Wave. Would recommend to all.

Been a couple of times the staff attention is brilliant. The setting is brilliant. The food is also very good. I would just like to see a more varied menu that changes now and again

Lovely vibrant place to eat in Cockermouth. Quite noises so don’t go here if you prefer it quiet. Food was really good worth a visit.

Great food but we were seated in what felt like a corridor between the main bar area and rear restaurant, should have said something but we didn't.

Excellent food service and atmosphere. Could not fault anything about our evening out at fredericks. Would highly recomend for any age or group. Will def visit again

This was our first visit to Fredricks for a meal...there is a vast choice on the menu, but I found my Persian Lamb tappas much too hot and spicy and my salmon pasta dish was all pasta and no flavour. It's a very noisy environment in the restaurant area, with all hard furnishings. I am unlikely to return to eat again. However the cocktails were good, so perhaps a drink in the bar before going on to eat elsewhere :)

Lovely place, nice deco and smart young waiting staff, very attentive. Food really nice, open kitchen area, went for Sunday lunch and looked over dinner and alternative lunch menu, good varied choice, will definitely be back.

Lovely restaurant very modern and inviting but our meal wasnt as we expected.Steak was cooked to my choice but chips where very dry and peppercorn sauce was like water too thin.

Service was friendly and pretty quick. I had the dipping platter to start and the Persian lamb for main, both of which were lovely. Would go again and recommend to others.

Great experience, very pleased, we booked a private dining room which served our business meal very well. Definitely looking to visit again in the future.
