Recommend booking on a Saturday night. Cosy place with nice interior, friendly staff and excellent food! We had Teokbokki which I don't always come across in other Korean restaurants, korean pancakes, kimchi, seafood soup, fried rice and Hite beer!

This is a small restaurant and it has been busy each time we have been, so it is a good idea to book. The Korean barbecue is excellent and the very friendly staff are great at guiding you through the process. We will be back.

Overall food tasted good and service is good. Some dishes had slight variation to the traditional cooking and might not be to certain people's taste. Price is reasonable but bottled water is way overpriced!!

Excellent food and delightful staff, who were extremely helpful in guiding us through a menu with which we were unfamiliar. Helpings are generous, flavours complex and interesting.

My first experience eating Korean BBQ and it was truly excellent. I would especially recommend the BBQ beef. Service was fantastic too. And all for such a reasonable price!

A friendly and welcoming restaurant offering a wide range of Korean food. Very popular with the local Korean families. Particularly recommend the table barbecue dishes.

The food is very tasty with lots of interesting spices. We ordered the set menu so we could try different things and found the portions very generous. The staff are extremely polite and kind. We look forward to returning with our children, I think they will particularly enjoy the table top BBQ.

A small restaurant with excellent, well mannered members of staff. The facilities were clean and orderly. I had never had Korean before and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The food, also, was reasonably priced. In terms of the location, the venue is in close proximity from public transportation in both directions of Wimbledon and Sutton. In other words, I would definitely go there again. Well done Gaya.

Service was good. Food is authentic especially the sweet and sour pork and chicken ginseng soup that is the closest you can find to the real deal in Korea. Have visited a few times and will definitely keep coming back.

Gaya is one of our local restaurants serving typical Korean food. The food is great and the service is excellent. The tables have a barbecue in the middle and it is a real crowd (child-) pleaser to have some meat cooked on it, which can then be eaten wrapped in lettuce with spring onions.

we went for lunch but they didn't give us lunch set menu while other customers ordered lunch set. So we ordered from ordinary menu and it costed a lot for only lunch. They even didn't serve us tea while others were having as a service. We were really disappointed their services.

For some in our party, this was their first taste of Korean food - it will not be the last! Great food and really helpful, friendly and attentive staff who helped the novices with dish selection and the barbecue cooking.

Delicious food and attentive service in a neighbourhood restaurant. Ingredients, especially the vegetables, were fresh and tasty. My daughter (9 yrs) liked the BBQ arrangement in the centre of the table, which made sitting through a meal with Mum and Dad a little more interesting.

The food was really tasty and tasted authentic. We tried various Korean restaurants in the area and all over London and this is one of the best. The waiters could be a bit more friendly and smile sometimes, but maybe it was just too busy and they looked tired. Will definitely go back.

Nice people and quick service. The food was ok but not as good as we were expecting from the reviews. The salmon was dry and the egg fried rice a very unappetising grey colour.

Very good Korean food, excellent service, nice atmosphere relative to other Korean restaurants in New Malden area. Among our favourites: seafood pancake and Udon noodles.

Authentic Korean food at affordable price. The tasting menu (min for 2) is excellent if you want to try different starters + the typical meat barbecue at the table.

The place was busy but in an atmospheric way it was not over crowded or too loud. The staff were really friendly to my family and i. They were very patient and informative! The food was excellent! Great quality and great flavour. My parents had the bbq and my girlfriend and i, being vegetarian, had a bibimbap and spicy seafood hotpot pot. The staff showed us how to mix the bibimbap and saved us from ordering something which contained meat! This particularly impressed me as i had only mentioned over the phone that there were some vegetarians on our table and they remembered! I will definitely be coming here again if not regularly!
