Gem is a favourite restaurant of mine. The food is delicious, plentiful and reasonably priced and the service and atmosphere are great. I've never had a bad experience here.

Food was wonderful! Chicken and lamb like you’ve never tasted. So very juicy and smokey. Atmos was calm and uncluttered. Very friendly staff. Get the Baklava.

Its was lovely food and good value for money as i had a taste card the chef did forget to put one order through so one of u had to wait alot longer for her main to arrive but they did apologise but maybe should have offered her a drink FOC for the inconvenience

Had the set meal B selection of starters any main of your choice,, we choose the signature dish, very nicely cooked, chicken with rice and salad. House wine was good, staff friendly and efficient.

Food was delicious and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The set menu had an amazing range and was exceptional value for money. We have been there before and definitely will go back.

The change of management is noticeable. There was hardly any interaction with the staff & overall atmosphere was less welcoming. The quality of the dishes are much the same as before - very good. However, the tables are cramped and had not enough space for dishes ordered we end up resting our bottle of wine on the floor to make room. I would think very hard about going back which is a shame as I was expecting it to improve after the brief closure for the refurb.

Have visited Hem many times but this is the first time since it has been refurbished and it did not disappoint us Service and Food was excellent - house wine was very good, toilets were clean and new decor was very nice . Will go there again. Thanks

Food was good but service was shocking. We’re talking at least one hour wait between starter and mains. Not good when you have small children with you. For context it was a Saturday night but the booking was made well in advanced and they should have warned us it would be a long wait so we could have rearranged. Shame - used to be the gem of all Gems!

As always there; great food ,gread service, the best table in the restaurant...but the halumi salad was a bit ‘dull’ for £8.50. Fortunately I got something spicy in a pot to add to it but the salad itself seemed to be done on the stingy:just iceberg tomato cucumber and halumi. delicious but they could have added some fresh herbs or made the salad portion bigger.

Table too small for the amount of dishes uncomfortable environment because of this. Meal was ok in parts. Did Love food from Gem before this.

We love GEM. It has good food and friendly service. The house wine is not at all bad and it's menu works for both vegetarians and meat eaters!

I had a lovely evening there with friends last night . The staff are friendly, the menu is great menu and the meal was very good value.

One of the best restaurants in North London. We were treated excellently by the staff, the food is fantastic and so well priced. Thank you for making my birthday evening very memorable.
