Excellent on all counts, food service and quality. Staff could not be more helpful. Food super well cooked portion size more than sufficient. Certainly well go again.

Had delightful lunch, excellent food and service and will go again in the near future. Not sure if I should have had 25% off as it was Tuesday!!!

Food was lovely... Good choice on the set menu too! Very close to the bar so music was a bit loud for talking but good atmosphere.

Fabulous food,excellent value -we ate from the 3 courses for £25 menu. The pea soup with goats cheese was amazing! Rather noisy but lots of atmosphere. Lovely staff.

Simply excellent. Service is very good. The restaurant is excellent inside. Food is very good and I feel is great value for money. No matter what time of the day, this is a great place.

Ambience was great, lovely decor and good location. The service was good- we were served by Steven. Food was ok but could have been better. Nice evening overall.

£70 two course meal for two. Food was delicious, cocktails too. Service was attentive, friendly and prompt. Minor issue with missing sauce quickly rectified. Will go again.

Great aperitifs, thanks barlads,great maître d' , our favourite table , steaks excellent. Top class wine and cognac well served. Thanks chef. George's did us proud as usual. Keep up the good work!!

Superb evening. The service - very attentive. Drinks just when we wanted them. Food spot on, quality absolutely excellent! For starters we had the Crispy Beef and King Prawn Salad and my partner had Goats Cheese and Beetroot Tart. For our main course we both had the Rib Eye Steak both cooked to perfection. Desserts Sticky Toffee Pudding and White Chocolates Shortbread. With the steak being the highlight of the meal, we will be returning again very soon. Georges is worth a visit you won't regret it.

Had a great night on Saturday, Lovely food, Great service and wine. look out for Jim the waiter he's so professional and Simon the manager couldn't do enough for us. would highly recommend George's they offer everything you need for a night out with friends or a special occasion. 10 out of 10.

Excellent early bird meal, three choices of starter, main and dessert. fabulous waitress Flick. Quiet but nice, able to talk without load music. Will definetly go again.

Great food! Fantastic Sunday roast. Service was very quick, normally this wouldn't be a complaint but we were in and out in 50 minutes (2 courses) felt ever so slightly rushed.

A fantastic evening with friends. the service was excellent as was the food and the Bar service. a special comment on the steak and the quality of the ingrediants

Lovely meal, attentive staff, great atmosphere. Good value daily set menu and varied a la carte menu with good choice of wines. Nice decor and outside seating area.

Enjoyable evening, great service, attentive staff and really great food. Try the Jamon Iberico Cured Meats sharing platter and Pork ‘Head-to-Toe’ main, well worth it. Looking forward to returning again.

Some dishes were excellent others (nose to tail pork) more ordinary (chicken parfait). Desserts, drinks and service were all second to none. Overall had a really lovely evening.

Lovely food and restaurant, only criticism is they could do with improving on the gluten free options very limited. Overall good dining experience I would recommend and return.

Restaurant too loud and noisy some acoustic treatments to ceilings and walls would be helpful. Service and waiting staff excellent! The nit so good .....the steaks were Luke warm ( all three of them ). I main course of the six diners wasn't delivered until we were half way through our main course. The prices were not worth the food, these were more like southern prices than the north ???? I was looking to book a private party in the private dining room, but sorry I will be looking elsewhere !!!

Good atmosphere, staff were friendly and always there for you and food was amazing. Good place to celebrate your birthday with friends. Can't wait to go back

An excellent experience as ever! We had the afternoon tea, the sandwiches and cakes were all delicious and the staff are brilliant. We had two small kids with us and the staff were lovely with them. Highly recommended.

We live very close to here but never tried it. Lovely food a really nice first time experience. We will return.Staff very friendly and attentative

First class food and service cannot speak too highly of experience. The Seabass was a delight as was the crab pasta. The Creme brûlée was in my wife's words amazing

George's is a lovely restaurant but we found things let it down. Positives: Majority of the food was lovely Great atmosphere Attentive staff Negatives: Very expensive for what you get and compared to other high end restaurants Dirty menus (they needed wiping!) Kids meal was bland Main course was underwhelming and salty

Fabulous food and service that is always exceptional - the staff really do make this place (as well as the yummy cocktails!). We are very lucky to have Georges as our local.

Lovely food and cocktails, great service too. Restaurant wasn't too busy, staff were very attentive and we didn't feel rushed at all. We had a 5 year old with us and were given the wifi password so that so that he could watch to on his iPad

Been a few times for both food and drink but this time we were let down by problems in the kitchen. Waited a considerable length of time for our food and when it did eventually arrive it could have been so much better. On the plus side service from Hollie was excellent.

Welcoming visit to Georges on a Sunday morning, quick and efficient service with a smile. Food was really good couldn't complain. We'll definitely be going back for an evening meal.

Dinner in Georges restaurant was a very enjoyable experience. The dining room has a bright fresh feel about it and the staff were very helpful and friendly. We were too late for the 'early bird' menu, which seems to be excellant value, so we found it was a it expensive for what we had, but the food was good.

Lovely setting with warm ambience Staff polite & attentive. Food gorgeous & great value for money! Plenty of choice with a new spring menu. Wine delightful!! Definitely worth a visit & will be returning very soon!

I had afternoon tea at the Hilton around 6 months ago and whilst it was very nice, the afternoon tea at georges was far better and far nicer, I couldn't fault it - as a result, I bought a voucher for my mum for mothers day.

Love this place ... they want you to enjoy yourself and will do their very best to make it happen

Pleasant staff, lovely décor and I like the fact they don't automatically add service charge to the bill. It is left at your discretion. Not an extensive choice of menu but sometimes that is better.

As evet, great food, friendly and helpful staff. The overall experience was only marred by a screaming baby throughout lunch. Don't wish to dine in a creche!

Poor service and well below average food, this was overall a very disappointing dining experience, at what we considered to be a premium price. We shall not return!

We had a lovely visit to George's and look forward to next time. The afternoon tea was yummy and the waitress was really pleasant and helpful. Thanks :-)
