Lovely atmosphere, great cocktails and delicious food. The staff are extremely good, attentive, friendly and efficient. Spring menu is a treat, and did I mention the cocktails!

Once again the team at George's provided great service and the food was exquisite as always. Also a big thankyou to Natalie of helping to make my birthday so special.

The atmosphere was very relaxed and food was lovely. Our waitress was very attentive. The live music was a good touch Great evening, would definitely come again.

Our afternoon was a wonderful experience. The food was superb and the staff were great. We was sharing a birthday lunch with a friend and it was marvellous.

We were not as happy today as we have been on our last 3 visits. We brought our Mums for lunch as a treat on Mother's Day. We waited far to long between courses for our food and Me and my Husband had roast beef which was tough and tasteless, the roast potatoes were too hard on the outsides and the Yorkshire puddings were cold. The starters and sweets were delicious just such a shame the main let it down. The daffodils were a lovely touch for us Mums.

6 of us for a birthday breakfast, the quality of the food was fantastic and the lady who served us was lovely and extremely polite. will definitely be back.

This place is fantastic, the food is fab, all the staff are lovely and Dan makes the best Bloody Marys 10 out of 10 every time!

Visited for Sunday lunch and the food was amazing. We ordered off the Sunday lunch menu which is great value for money. The waiter was very polite and helpful. We were accommodated with a table which had room for a pram as we had our 4 month old with us. Booked again for Sunday lunch and and wait!

Have been to George's previously and we love the sunday and prix fixe menus. This time we tried the a la carte and I ordered the oxtail ravioli to start and the monkfish tagine main. The ravioli was too big, one giant parcel when i would prefer a few small ones in the consome of which there was very little off. As the meat in the ravioli was in one huge clump this made the pasta soggy. The meat in the starter tasted good at least, whereas the main the monkfish tagine was a bit plain and flavourless. The couscous served with it was lightly spiced with a slight coconut flavour which was nice, but given the main cost nearly 18 pounds I really did expect more from the flavour of the fish and broth. sadly disappointed by our visit this time.

It was our first visit to George's . Super service , friendly staff and one of the best meals out I've had. We will come again.

Sunday lunch main course not very good, very salty and beef not nice. Kids running around the restaurant not relaxed at all. Generally not a good experience

Its just not as good as it could be. Food average esp main course, my beef was the thinnest I ever seen !! Customer service slow and a bit amateurish I live local and each time I go I hope its better and I will want to go more often, but no its the same. Been for lunch a couple of times and that was better

Staff are great and very friendly. food is well priced and of a very good standard. Kids are made very welcome and are looked with a menu that has variety.

Had a great time - atmosphere was busy & buzzy & we loved the bar area. The service was excellent - they arranged things so that we could move to another table that was further in to the restaurant, they were knowledgeable about the menu and when I asked if I could swap the tagliatelle for salad it was not an issue. The seabass was gorgeous beautifully cooked & worked so well with the beetroot & the vegetables were piping hot & crisp not overcooked. Overall, very impressed & will definitely be returning.

Fantastic food and lovely staff. Everything was spot on from start to finish. We really enjoyed the evening there. Great selection of cocktails as well.

The food was good and great value for money with the set menu offer. The staff were fantastic and really looked after my Mum who is 88.

Good service, nice food, but the duck and seabass were a bit dry. It was valentines and all the ladies got a rose exept me which wasn't picked up on by any staff which was disappointing. No preferences asked for my cocktails which weren't to my taste. Other than that, nice atmosphere.

The setting was pleasant, though the outside of the building did seem a little tired. The open topped sandwiches were nicely presented on imitation slate but tasted nice. The cakes were varied and colourful, with the scone being my favourite.

Great service and the food was excellent. we went on a Friday so had the added bonus of a live singer. Will definitely be returning soon!!

We had a lovely meal, delicious food and a lovely surroundings. Too full for a desert, but they also looked very very tasty indeed. We will definitely return in the next couple of weeks. Thank you Georges!

An excellent meal; well-presented and well-cooked. The service is excellent also. Highly recommended. The set meal is excellent value, although the main menu offers a very good variety of dishes.

The Service was impeccable, let us combine dishes to suit our taste. Sweet potato soup was the best I've ever had, fillet steak was cooked to perfection, dessert was our favourite!! ❤️❤️❤️ I recommend the chocolate fondant!!! back tomorrow for lunch!

A great venue to meet up with friends. Lovely food in a welcoming, relaxing setting with great service.Had a wonderful time and will definitely return.

The food all round (4 of us dined) to be of a good quality but not great. The staff were very good but failed to hand us back our coats which they kindly stored away for us when we arrived. We had to get them ourselves out of a closed cupboard.

Lovely surroundings, nice mix of traditional and modern cuisine. Slightly on the prices side, but nice for a special occasion. My sea bass was slightly overdone, but the cocktails more than made up for that!😀

I brought my husband to George's for brunch as a birthday treat. On arrival the staff were welcoming and friendly, and the 'George's Breakfast' was delicious. We can't wait dine here again. Superb place.

Plates cold, food quality good, reasonable size portions,grit in Mushroom Ravioli , cold upstairs and no wall lights on so dark, basic errors hopefully they can improve with ?

Excellent food, lovely setting and staff that could not do enough for you. Myself and my partner went for a valentines lunch. We were looked after my Steven who was extremely helpful and courteous. Would recommend without hesitation to anyone.

Venue was tastefully decorated inside and out and was clean. Staff were well presented, pleasant, courteous and knowledgeable. Menu selection was varied and food was delicious. Will definitely be visiting again!

Sunday menu was very good value. Food was delicious. We were sat in the private dinning room, which was lovely. Staff were attentive and friendly.

Service a little slow between main and dessert but the food was brilliant and the atmosphere great! We had a pram and they were very accomodating

Food was excellent. Limited menu on a Sunday, but what we had was great. Extremely pleasent waitress, who was lovely. Didn't have crushed ice to make cocktails which was disappointing, but chose something else to drink, so not a problem. Would definitely return, beautiful food.

Small place tables were abit too close food was ok overall was ok, the cauliflower soup and the duck leg for starter was nice. I had steak for my main, medium and found parts of the beef rather chewy, my partner had the poached chicken and found it slightly dry. One of the glasses given to us was dirty so asked for a new one and I don't know if the same glass was given on return, so I didn't bother to ask for another glass, maybe that's the best they could do with offering a clean glass? Overall the Service was good. Parking at the back which made it easy to access.
