Great cocktails and food. Service very good despite being very busy. Free cocktail of choice as celebrating my birthday - nice touch. Will be returning!

Excellent food and service, one meal came out wrong but they rectified it and did not charge us for it. Would highly recommend going here.

I have been with my missus about 5 times its well worth going the food is realy nice and it doeant break the bank all the staff are friendly and easy to aproch its a high standerd restaurany without the high prices

The food was poor. We ordered two Sunday Roasts and had to send one back. The service was poor and I definitely won't be going back.

We had a superb meal and the service was excellent. After our meal we moved to the bar area as there was a live singer on which really finished off our lovely family meal. We have had many meals here including, breakfasts, lunch and dinner and are looking forward to the summer months when we can enjoy drinks upstairs on the veranda.

Disappointed with our first visit to George's. Lighting was poor making it difficult to read menu's. My meal was not bad but my wife was not happy with her meal. Her smoked salmon was dark in colour and did not look appetising unlike mine that had good colour. My main course of wild mushroom ravioli was fine. but my wife found her meal of beer-batterd haddock, french fries and mushy peas dry and bland. Would think twice before going again.

Amazing food and service. Always a great friendly atmosphere. We have been a few times now and cant think of a bad word other than its not closer to my house.

Hi, I made this booking for my Mum and her friend as it was Mum's 78th birthday. Rob the manager made this a simple transaction as I don't live local any more but I wanted to pay the bill. Rob called me and the bill was settled. Anyway back to the experience, my Mum thought it was wonderful, the food was fantastic , the service from Rob and his staff was second to none and it made for a really special occasion . Very modern interior, and a welcoming bar area, we enjoyed a lovely meal, with good table service, very pleasant staff, great overall value, will 100% go again.

The only issue was that when we ordered the wild mushroom ravioli from the menu the waitress came back and informed that it was now butternut squash ravioli !! Otherwise a great meal (we had steaks instead which were excellent) and very good service. Definitely will go again.

From the valentines menu I chose the game starter which was the highlight of the meal closely followed by the gingerbread and cherry sobet. The cod was also lovely. The single red rose was a lovely touch as was seeing Ryan Giggs and Nicky butt at the bar!!

We had the afternoon tea, it was lovely food and excellent service. It was well worth the money and we'd definitely go back again. Thank you.

Food was okay, if a little on the expensive side for what you got, otherwise a pleasant place to dine with a nice atmosphere and good staff.

Food was delicious and came out in perfect time. Overall decor was elegant with a romantic atmosphere and the staff were very helpfyl, cheerful and polite.

Service good. Disappointed that we were given the limited Sunday menu on a bank holiday Monday providing only one vegetarian option! Could also do with seat cushions on the wicker type chairs. Staff excellent, courteous, and very friendly. Will be visiting again very soon.

Food, service and venue were all superb. The whole visit was a wonderful way to enjoy an early Valentine's meal. I'd highly recommend George's to everyone.

Disappointed! 2 failed children's pizza, dry children's pasta. On the plus side - great chocolate brownie, good service, nice wine. If it wasn't for the children's meal refund and January sale 30% discount this might have been a 1. Unfortunately we will not be rushing back for more.

Good food with friendly service. Visited on a Thursday evening with friends. Our food was hot and tasty accompanied by attentive efficient service by the staff. All in all a pleasant evening. Memo to management...please put seat covers on the whicker chairs in the dining room and get rid of the wall mirrors at the far end of the restaurant.

It's my first visit to George's but found it most enjoyable. The service and staff were impeccable. Our waitress, Felicity made it an enjoyable experience. The food was excellent. I would definately come again and recommend it.

Great food and service. Happened to mention it was my daughter's birthday and she received a free cocktail. Later they decorated her desert and sang "happy birthday"! Highly recommended. Great evening

6 of us Went for breakfast 5 had the Georges traditional. 1 had the vegeterian all Excellent quality and very well presented. Variety Superb and No problem swopping eg No Black pud but extra mushrooms. Staff very professional, the restaurant was very clean and tidy And felt luxurious. Only criticism Is the chairs could be better. WILL DEFINATELY RECCOMEND THE BREAKFAST AND THE RESTAURANT

We had a very nice meal lovely place great atmosphere . Only thing i can say negative is the bar area was very full and we had to wait 20 mins packed in like sardines waiting for our table. We did arrive 20 mins early

A packed restaurant with a great atmosphere. Plenty of attentive staff not shy of offering a smile or a suggestion. 3 of the dishes trigger an automatic meal to a hungry poor person in the area, a nice touch. Finish the evening off on the roof terrace to cool off after a tasty and filling meal.

Wonderful family meal. There were nine of us, and we were rather loud, we had a lovely private area to sit in, brilliant patient! service and great food, it was a huge success. And the Baked Alaska was amazing :-)

Really nice meal. Service and food were great. They have some really nice choices of food which is presented beautifully. The decor is nice too.

No one around when I arrived, so sat and waited to be attended to, but in the end went to find a member of staff. Turkey dinner with 'all the trimmings' disappointing. Only veg was sprouts and very little gravy. I think the roast potatoes were precooked or even frozen?!

Lovely food and atmosphere. However one of the toilets was missing a door frame so couldn't lock the door! Also waited a while for the mains. They did bring us a smaller taster and water for the table which is always nice!

Fantastic - staff are really welcoming and helpful - foods great too! Car parking always proves a challenge but managed a space at the back - happy days!!
