Good food for the price, the local is very cool
Good food. Good service. Nice choice of drinks and desserts
Sad to say the food has hit rock bottom - and the chain is entering a death spiral - it’s time has past
Food was lovely, staff very attentive. Katsu Curry could have had a little more sauce but otherwise all good. Lovely place.
This was a celebration meal for my daughter’s 7th bday. I added a note to the reservation plus I told the greeter when we arrived and asked if they could add a little candle to my daughter’s dessert. She said yes “absolutely”. Throughout the service, the waiter was really flat, not the usual cheerfulness of the vibrant, upbeat chain I’ve become used to. He was cheery enough while chatting and bantering with his fellow colleagues but the smiles disappeared when he came back over to us. Despite the fact my daughter was too full up for a dessert I ordered some ice cream for her, so they could put a candle in. When it was brought to us, there was no candle. No mention of birthday, nothing. They clearly forget or didn’t care. I didn’t want to address this in front of my daughter, nor did I feel I would get a reasonable response from the already disinterested staff. A real shame and not the Giraffe experience we have loved in the past - we have four children and always used to visit for family birthdays. I think that was the last time though...
Really lovely, friendly atmosphere. The food was really good too. I would definitely recommend.
The Happy hour is definitely value for money, runs all day every day - great for cocktails :-)
The food is ok, but the value for money is good and Happy Hour is always good.
Food was really poor quality, wouldn't go back for it. The tagine was really dry with lots of couscous and very little sauce/meat. The duck stir fry had far too much really sweet sauce . The bao buns were very dry with no sauce in
No issues at all, friendly helpful and great service and food, good all round location
Had a great time. Eat here often (Spitalfields) a reunion with friends so we stayed a long time. Very friendly staff, great food. Thank you
