About Grill Shack & Tiki Bar - Southbourne

The Caribbean food at Grill Shack & Tiki Bar is so good that the team behind the wheel have now managed to establish two restaurants in Bournemouth. This one you’ll find on Seabourne Road in Southbourne, and the menu is just as bouncing as in the other, Kinson restaurant. Burgers, taste of the tropics sharers and, of course, Caribbean-style chicken are the standouts for us, and marinated for 24 hours, the chicken comes with your choice of an aromatic glaze, hot jerk, sweet coconut or smoky BBQ. Caribbean food is wonderfully wholesome, hearty and delicious, and this Southbourne restaurant does it damn well. Reserve a table now.

Superb meal and according to my manager (blond, ex-menapausal, love her to bits) aka the wife we will be returning as I only obey and pay. Both the Jerk Chicken and the Goat curry were lovely not too zingy just right. the lighting just needs to be turned down a bit.

Friendly and warm staff, food presented well and in good time. Reasonable value for money. One issue you need to sort the front door which doesn't close properly and creates a draft UNLESS you keep leaving the table to close it properly

Was my first visit here as we normally go to the grill shack in Kinson. Loved the decor and the food and service was brilliant. Will definitely be going again.

Great atmosphere friendly staff and lovely food, especially the sea bass according to Mrs C! Free parking across the road after 6 o'clock and all in all great value for money.

Food was amazing, had to wait a while for service but with only 3 staff on I can forgive that. Real value for money I will be going again.
