Emphasising the health benefits of quality South Asian food, Halimah’s chefs take an ayurvedic approach to the delicious, vibrant dishes they create. Turmeric, cloves, and cardamom possess antiseptic and antioxidant properties, while ginger is a carminative and an aid to digestion. Without a doubt, the first time you take your seats at Halimah’s High Street restaurant, you should check out the selection of dishes exclusive to Halimah and the chef’s specialties – they’ll blow your socks off.

We love the Halimah. A wide range of choice in the menu and the food is delicious. All served up by polite and attentive staff. Also very good value for money. Our go to place for Indian food in East Lothian. Just a pity they don't deliver to pencaitland!!
