Craft beer, California-inspired cuisine and organic coffee take the starring role at Hally’s in London’s Parsons Green. Founded in 2013, the restaurant on New King’s Road focuses on providing fresh, delicious dishes using top-quality, seasonal and sustainably-sourced ingredients. Decorated in light and airy colours and resembling the inside of a chic beach house, the restaurant has a sunny atmosphere that’s sophisticated and charming, just as you might find on the American west coast.
Dear customers: Hally’s do not take reservations during their daytime opening hours (8am - 6pm, for breakfast, lunch and coffee). Dinner reservations may be made on Friday and Saturday evenings from the 18th of September, from 7pm until 10pm. The restaurant closes at 11pm.
Taking inspiration from a dream-trip across California, husband-and-wife team Anna Halliday and Philip Beatty decided to bring their experiences all the way back to London’s Parson’s Green. After having eaten in numerous cafes, restaurants and diners across California, the couple was impressed by the prevalence of fresh, sustainable vegetables and ethically minded ingredients in many of the dishes on offer, realising the potential the cuisine would have in the UK. Choosing only reputable suppliers and sourcing from local and organic farms, the team has successfully injected a bit of California sunshine into their restaurant on New King’s Road and are impressing foodies from across the city.
Open every day of the week for breakfast and lunch, Hally’s kitchen churns out simple, fresh American cuisine that’s bursting with flavour and originality. Come in until 11:30am for smoked salmon on rye, eggs Florentine with hollandaise or ricotta pancakes, alongside an array of delicious homemade pastries and baked goods. For lunch, enjoy starters like crispy avocado fries with wasabi lime mayonnaise or wild mushrooms on toasted brioche before diving into mains like veal osso bucco with saffron risotto and gremolata, meatballs in a spicy tomato stew with toasted gruyere on sourdough, or Hally’s beef burger topped with bacon, cheese, and horseradish served on a brioche bun with a side of fries. Elegant dinners are served on Friday and Saturday evenings, offering a romantic candlelit ambience and innovative California-style dishes.
