Nice atmosphere,beef Sunday roast was excellent washed down with a couple of fine German beer's. Then finished off with the homemade cake with cream/ ice cream. A great meal and would go back again.

Returned here after5 weeks as had a lovely time. Food was fabulous, pizzette and the small steak were my choice. Food and wine very good, were going to go elsewhere for a drink afterwards but the atmosphere was very relaxed and friendly we decided to stay.

Enjoyed my visit but disliked the mixture off low and high tables , we were sitted at a high table which we found uncomfortably due to the stools being too low. We did move to a small table, the staff were lovely and the food was good.

Came here for a 40% offer. We had never eaten here before. We chose 5 tapas and a pizzette. We really enjoyed the food, we will definitely return!

Food lovely but service not good, 10 of us but one guy has been twice and didn't want go gain cus of service but rest of us wanted to give it go. He came and said 'told u so' needs more staff than one guy taking drinking orders, then pouring them and then take food orders, b no good if u where to a time scale, shame as food lovely

Bit noisy, but it was Saturday night. The small dish, which I'd ordered as a starter, arrived after the main course but the food was fresh and well cooked. Reasonably priced.

The staff here are really lovely. My husband and I went for our Sunday lunch and decided on the 2 course roast dinner. It was absolutely delicious as well as being good value for money. Will definitely return soon.

Great food. Good service. Knowledgeable staff with a sense off humour too. A rare combination these days. Very was quite busy which was nice to see but the staff were still attentive. Very impressed.

Had a pleasant few hours in Hampsons, enjoyed the freshly prepared tapas choices that we choice. The waitress was helpful, especially when choosing the wine.

Good selection if food offered on the menu, all we had tasted excellent as well. Reasonable prices as well. A little awkward with placing if table but this may have been due to Christmas lights getting turned on in the village.

We go to Hampsons quite often, because it's got a lovely atmosphere, great food...good value too. We particularly like the way the small pizzerias, which are delicious.

Such a great atmosphere, such great service and wonderful food, a nice dining experience for both my companion and I. What more could you possibly want!

Very disappointed. Went for the specials I chose Moroccan Lamb and expected a spicy tegine type lamb, but what I got was a few mouth fulls of pulled lamb with three little cubes of feta cheese on top of half a pitta bread with frozen sweet potato chips. No herbs and spices at all. Eatable but very boring. Hubby chose the chicken and pbacon burger, which was over cooked and again very boring with frozen chips. When asked if everything was OK we explained how we felt and our comments were totally ignored. Will not be going again

Myself and my friends hadn't been booked into Hampsons and I was made to feel uncomfortable while I was finding my email confirmation. The restaurant was quite busy but there were tables to sit at but we were not allowed to do this and were kept standing until I could prove my booking. This experience was very embarrassing as we were in everyones way, we were eventually shown to a table and picked our meals but by then I felt I didnt really want to be there. I shall therefore not return to this restaurant in the near future.

Great small plates, and competitively priced wine list. Food was delivered as and when it was ready which to me is a good sign as it suggests everything is cooked fresh to order. Will definitely ba back!

Very clean, very comfortable. Serves only "Platters" - ploughman's, charcuterie, pate - on a Monday and these were all very tasty, ample for our wants. Could not be friendlier, so we have booked for a full lunch menu in a few weeks.

A fantastic lunch today. The manager John was so helpful the food was freshly prepared. Great portions and very tasty. Definitley worth visiting here. Thank you John.
