The best Sunday lunch for a very long time. We shall return.
The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly
Though now moved into the hotel restaurant (smaller, more intimate) Harts has retained the quality and service it always had. The food was delicious and the waiter was excellent - going to speak to the chef to obtain a different vegetarian option when we asked. Prices were realistic and the food was value for money.

We like to visit and dine at Harts two or three times a year and as ever you are greeted and treated in such a special way. The service is always impeccable and the food never disappoints. Utterly delicious everything! An added bonus on Sunday19th November was the voice of Campbell Bass and we even had a dance.Perfect
Staff friendly, we all chose the set menu which was limited to two choices on each course. My starter of ham hock with black pudding was fairly bland, but main course of guinea fowl with risotto was delightful and tasty. The side vegetables of beans and broccoli spears were cooked to perfection. Four of our party of 6 had puddings which were very acceptable plus two bottles of wine, I felt that at nearly £50,00 per head this was paying top price for what we had.
The food was excellent started with morel mushrooms in garlic sauce.mains was fillet steak cooked to perfection then I had cheese board for dessert.The service was excellent being greeted at the door and service at the table.It was my husband's birthday they brought out a plate of mixed desserts with happy birthday written on the plate.
Exquisite food as usual and excellent service! We ate off the a la carte menu choosing a main and a dessert. I was treating my niece as part of her 18th birthday celebrations and the chef prepared her a special plate of petits fours to mark the occasion. She was thrilled!
The service and food at this restaurant is top class, it could not be better. Staff are very polite and attentive and the food is very up to date with new menu's with unusual combinations of food. The light and airy modern setting of the restaurant is very pleasant and relaxing.
From arrival to departure the service and welcome were excellent. Good advice given for the choice of wine to go with our meal and the food itself was exquisite. We weren’t hurried or were allowed to take as much time as we wanted. All in all a fabulous experience!
