Food great Staff fantsatic piped music terrible--Mary Poppins Frozen soundtracks at dinner, alot to be desired

We waited 30 minutes for our drinks and nearly 1hr for our main courses, having not ordered any starters, one of which was a mediterranean tart but the crust was burnt - we did point this out and the waiter said the chef could do a fresh one as it would not take long but as we had waited 1hr for the main course we did not want to chance this. Three of us ordered desserts - one came without the ice cream and all 3 were cold when they were supposed to be hot desserts. We returned these. They did offer us complimentary coffees but we refused as the desserts and one coffee also took about 25/30 mins to arrive we did not have the time to wait. They took the service charge off the bill but I also asked for it to be adjusted to reflect the poor service and food that we had received. They did give us a discretionary discount. The restaurant did not seem overly busy and yet we experienced very long delays in service.

Tasty food, unfortunately the bordelaise sauce was lumpy. We went because of half price steaks but what a palava, spent half an hour before discount was applied. No internet so no code!

Always great food and service. Steaks are cooked and presented beautifully and the service is quick, polite and accurate.

Sunday roast menu - sirloin and lamb shank. Very tasty, good veg, roast potatoes and Yorkshire pudding. Extra gravy. Cauliflower cheese on the side (needed a bit extra under a hot grill). Nice cheesecake and lemon tart.

Nice atmosphere, worms and good food plus a kid playing zone.

Experience was ok. One of our meals was incorrect so they had to wait for their meal to arrive whilst the rest of the table started so as not to go cold. We were then charged for the incorrect more expensive meal and over charged service charge due to the way their system works. Overall not the experience we had hoped for a treat night out. We’ve been quite a few times and not noticed how service charge is calculated so I actually feel swindled and will unlikely be going again now we know. Advice, check your bill and make management aware.

I was looking for a great steak restaurant for my husband, without going into London. I believe his steak was “good” however everything else was exceptionally overpriced, for slightly average food. A small portion of overcooked bland mac and cheese for £8 and small starters for £10. At least items are home cooked but wouldn’t say it’s executed to a high quality Staff were pleasant but overall, underwhelming!

The breakfast menu should be included on the website as it is really good Freshly cooked food to our tastes and very pleasant service. Only thing that was lacking was other patrons.

The food was absolutely delicious! We had a shared Sunday platter for two and we took a lot home as well. The rib eye was cooked to perfection, the chicken was juicy and tender. I would highly recommend Heaven's Kitchen. The name is so fitting! I would definitely rerurn

Great food. Service is as a bit slow but not bad considering by today’s standards!!! The menu was interesting- we could have each chosen half a dozen it ms and been equally satisfied. The music was a bit loud for normal conversation However the place was disappointingly empty. Can’t see how this place functions with so few guests.

Service was a bit lacking considering the restaurant wasn't busy and there were only 2 of us. Had to remind about some of the drinks and one of the sides didn't arrive (got forgotten even after chasing up). Didn't get handled well and still expected service charge. heaven's kitchen in Farnham is great, the Squirrel isn't as good as the original. £82 for two OK steaks, one veg side and a pint and half of beer excluding service charge.

Very friendly service from staff. Food was quite slow to come and was just OK. There was a bit of a lack of atmosphere in the place, not really helped by the chilled EDM playing in the restaurant which made it feel more like a holiday bar.

We booked a table for 4 adults and 2 children the restaurant was fairly empty when we arrived. we ordered coffees which arrived Luke warm!! Our breakfast order was eventually taken then we had to wait about 50 minutes which I found unacceptable as I said it was pretty empty, unfortunately we were left disappointed with the service we had received and would not recommend or return

5 ladies who lunch enjoyed the delicious food on the Golden menu. Friendly staff. Comfortable surroundings. Our table was booked for 12.30pm and we left at 4.30pm.

Unfortunately the menu was different to the one shown on line, which made it hard for our friends to find something they like. No fish option, also chicken selection not great for people who only eat fish or chicken. On line menus had a far better selection

The location was nice the seating area had so many different choices inside at bar, restaurant or conservatory. While outside offered different locations with their own unique settings

The steak was perfect and our waitress Maddie was welcoming and efficient. Thank you for a most enjoyable evening. We look forward to our next visit.

A lovely birthday meal on a Monday lunchtime so the restaurant was very quiet which suited us! The food was very nice with large portions. Would particularly recommend their calamari and onion rings!!

First visit to Heaven's Kitchen...............staff were lovely, service and food was good. A bit on the pricey side. Pub was fairly quiet but it was around 5.30pm on a Sunday. We shall return again but probably on a different day of the week.

Food was awful my steak chewy under cooked full of fat and dressing so salty I could not eat it. Waitress and chef couldn’t get one persons order right and it was only grilled chicken. Very over priced. Very disappointed won’t be going back.

A return visit, following an initial "Golden" menu meal a fortnight ago, which was truly excellent. This time the liver was not as palatable as it was the first time. No bacon was included this time, which it was last time. (Change of menu?) The pie of the day was delicious. We will come again.

We were expecting it to be busy due to Tuesday 241 deal....No so, which should have spoken volumes! 3 steak orders, they messed up the type of chips we had despite no changes to the "set" chips, served fried new potatoes (?), and over cooked 1 of the steaks which meant a re fire and me eating alone after the other 2 had finished. Greek salad was ok, although I have never had a Greek salad with sun dried tomatoes and a balsamic glaze. We were offered desserts on the house - 2 takers only, as I don't eat dessert. The staff were lovely, particularly Suzy, but the food was mediocre - disappointed! Would love to try again but not confident that it would be any better, particularly if it was even remotely busier - not sure I want to part with my hard earned cash for the same experience! Nicci
