every staff was busy but they never lost smile :) and the food was great as usual! hope next time I can be served on time!

Buon fish and chips ma ne ho mangiati di migliori. Personalmente ho trovato un po scomodo mangiare in una scatola di legno e non in un piatto. Posto carino e servizio cortese.

Service was great in that they were helpful and attentive, however the food was ok, not the best or worse fish and chips I've had.

We received fantastic service from the moment we got there and the food was excellent. Prices are very resonable and we will definitely be going back

We had a wonderful time at Hook last night. The food was delicious and the staff was both friendly and helpful. Definitely try the fish tacos as they're amazing (so is everything else on the menu, but those are really lovely). We'll definitely be returning!

Great food, drinks and service. No cutlery/napkins/salt and vinegar/sauces on unclean table and not a drop of soap left in the ladies toilet soap dispenser (essential for a clean person).

The food was piping hot and cooked to order. Very busy restaurant so take your patience with you! Overall very good experience. Will definitely visit again.

The food was delicious. Service was a bit casual and the waitress forgot about our second portion of prawns but I'll be going there again for sure.

The food we had was really good, but they were out of several things on the menue, including all but one of their beers. What's more, they only mentioned some of the things they were out of before we ordered, so it wasn't until most of our food was about to come out that my friend was told they had to choose something different.

We had to was 20min to be serverd then we had to wait for food for 45min will not be going back! I think it's cos we had a wowcher

On of the best fish n chips in town at very reasonable prices. Nice environment and quite easy to park in the neighborhood after 5:30 pm

Very average food, average service. The waitress seemed to be having a bad day or Maybe didn't enjoy working there? Good restraunt location. Probably wouldn't go back

A wonderful take on the classic 'Fish and Chips'. The food was delicious, service was excellent and great atmosphere, I look forward to returning soon.

Lacked atmosphere and food didn't live up to the hype - sadly. Mushy peas lacked seasoning .... tempura batter lacked any of the claimed flavours and the truffle/garlic mayo - no truffle.

A lovely little restaurant close to the station. Staff were very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and the craft beers were lovely. I would recommend it.

Got there about 1815 and there was only 1 person waiting tables which led to a decent delay in ordering and getting a drink. Shame as the food was good.

Hook is definitely one of the best fish and chips places to go for. We had a classic and a carribean one, both were amazingly fresh, crispy, well battered. The chips are quite good as well and compliment the fish very well. Overall a very good meal and good value for money.

It was surprisingly good, I bit disappointing with the no cod menu but overall was really good, almost excellent, definitely going back for more !!!!

Excellent Haddock & tasty chips. The service was reasonable and the food lived up to the reputation this eatery has earned. Cold day outside and the entrance door frequently not shut properly by people entering and leaving. The latch could do with some attention. Bit well worth a visit.

Great fish and chips! And the sides were amazing - prawns, octopus salad and minted peas. We were able to book which was a plus. Will definitely be back again.

The food and service are absolutely brilliant. The only thing that needs to change is the price of the wine. It's a bit steep and as a result, I get just one glass with my dinner and have a nightcap somewhere else.

The fish and chips were excellent, and the wine was delicious. The staff were really friendly and it is close to plenty of pubs for an apres pint.

It was a nice place to sit and chat with friends while eating delicious food in a very friendly atmosphere. Would definitely recommend to someone.

This was no ordinary fish and chips. The fish was deliciously fresh with really good coatings and fresh fish. I would recommend Hook. I did, however, feel pressure to leave once we had eaten. I felt like sitting a bit longer and may well have ordered another beer, but felt we had to go when asked a second time if we were done. Overall, highly recommended.

The best fish and chips I've had in London. I also loved the atmosphere, no frills, great music and attentive service. A quick walk from the Camden underground.

The service was excellent and the food was absolutely amazing. Its the third or fourth time have been and each guest I take there for the first time says the exact same thing!

We all had different fish and everyone enjoyed their meal. The minty mushy peas were great. We were all full and satisfied! Delicious! We will definitely be going back.

Service was top notch as was the food. Fresh quality fish and amazing tasty sauces make us logins to return to Hook every time we're in London.

The food was incredible. We had the cajun panko mackerel and cuban panko haddock, a side of fried calamari and a selection of 6 sauces which were all divine! Price for the food was good as portion sizes were more than enough. Beers were a little too pricey, but this didn't detract from the overall experience. Highly recommended!
