Hot 'n' Juicy Shrimp - Dulwich

The food was really good, the drinks were great but the only let down was the waitress serving us! However the manager rectified this and served us, she was attentive, friendly and on the ball! A real asset to the restaurant!!! One thing that they may want to change is that the service charge is added at the time of ordering and paying via the QR code which is a bit strange as ideally you should be able to add your preferred service charge amount once you have received service at the end of your meal! Also there is service charge added to the drinks bill which you order and pay separate so please look out for this when you’re ordering and paying! However I will say the food is extremely good, fresh, tasty and with a variety of seafood boil options and extras and they even do chicken wings for the non seafood eaters!

Food was great! Service is a little slow and whilst staff are nice and helpful, the slow service would stop us returning (that and how expensive it is for the seafood boils). We would have ordered more drinks if the staff were available. I dont like waiting ages between drinks and for service generally so wont return but we did like the food. Would reccomend the shrimp sliders! Would reccomend for the unique experience but for a date night with exceptional service, go elsewhere. Also, having water and cutlery on tables would be an easy improvement.

I was extremely disappointed with my recent visit. I brought my daughter to the restaurant for the first time on National Prosecco Day, but the staff didn’t seem to even know what the event was about. I ordered my food, but when it arrived, it was cold. I had to send it back. My daughter’s meal was supposed to come with a fruit shoot, but it didn’t — we had to ask for it. While we were there, another customer came in and wasn’t told that he needed to scan a barcode to order. He sat waiting for a long time for someone to assist him. When he finally got the menu up, he tried to get someone’s attention to ask about the rice, but no one came over, so he had to get up and go to the bar himself. The barman, when not busy, was just sitting on his phone. When I asked for my bill for the drink, I noticed they had overcharged me — even though it should have been discounted for National Prosecco Day. I spoke to the manager to raise my concerns, but she offered no kind of compensation, discount for a future visit, or even an apology that felt genuine. Overall, the service was utterly poor from start to finish, and I left feeling very let down.

The flavours was on point and they were able to accommodate my allergies. I ordered the muscle mania which was cooked in a separate broth from everything else. So I was able to enjoy a meal aswell with my family.

Presentation was good and the food tasted nice & fresh.

I came here as a group of 12. So we had multiple bookings. The summer kids meals were delicious and the parent meals was fantastic, we even bought more to take home. The quality & quantity was on point and the kids already want me to book again. Staff was very helpful and attentive.

Had a good time. Parts of the service were slow- drinks order. Cocktails were really nice though. Starters were great! We had the prawn sliders, lemon chicken wings - recommended by our lovely waitress Shania, and calamari. The prawn boil was good. We shared one between two and it was enough. Overall, we would recommend and I would return!

I've been coming here since opened the food is always on point and always had good service. Had the happy hour mini shrimp boil and mini mussel mania today and boy was it worth it. The restaurant seems to have a new manager and servers apart for the guy at bar. To say the service was slow and poor is an understatement, we 2 adults and teenager got our food about 10 minutes before our 9 year olds came out which was so annoying and she was very upset by this. Once we had finished our food we started packing up what was left the teenager ordered two portions of prawns, only ate half of 1 so we packed takeaway containers. When I picked up the untouched portion there was a hole in the bottom of the bag which resulted in the sauce spilling all over me. I spoke to the manager and complained about this and asked if they'd cover my dry cleaning bill, with that she told me that they provide bibs to keep clothes clean which I acknowledged and said if I had dropped the food on me due to being a messy eater I wouldn't of complained, but it was down to a faulty bag, even the server couldn't believe it and brought another bag to place the food in. We ordered some takeaways before we finished eating which took ages to come, the first lot was brought out to be eaten even though we told the server they were for a takeaway so they were taken back inside to be put in containers which was fine. Whilst waiting for my food to be packed for takeaway they brought my friends takeaway which had no labels and mine too, we were now confused wondering what was what. The takeaways eventually came back out but was given to the table next to us, luckily they realised and pointed her in our direction and we were given their drinks instead. When the food eventually came out there wasn't any labels on some items, I asked the server what was what but said she wasn't sure, but we'd figure it out when we got home, I explained to her we were going to 2 different addresses so she then took the food back inside to ask the chef what each dish was which took over 15 minutes to come back to us. I was absolutely fuming by the time we left and what annoyed me most is that I told my friend how amazing the food and staff are here, and this was her first experience. I've never had a negative word to say about this place until today. Management team may I suggest that you carry out some form of training to get the staff to the standard of your previous employees as they were amazing. I'd hate to see such a beautiful establishment loose their good name due to mine and other diners shambolic service today.

As we walked in no one acknowledged we were waiting to be seen for a table. Finally a lady checked us in and I found her attitude quite blunt as she told us we have the table till 7:30. I get that’s standard timing for tables but no need for the blunt tone. Ordering food on the app quite simple. Food came and was expecting high standards from reviews watched on social media however disappointing. Prawns were soft and mushy meaning they were almost gone off, prawns and lobster tail were not clean. Mac and cheese basic, the crab dip was nice but overally rated online. The best thing purchased were the shrimp sliders and the flavour of the classic sauce that’s it. Very annoyed that service charges were not shown before I paid online, I would not have paid that.

The food was delicious. The lobster was well cooked tender and full of flavour. Our waitress Olivia was such a delightful young woman, she was polite, friendly and a real asset to the restaurant. My only issue is as a party of 4, if we purchased our meals separately we each would pay a £6 service charge, which is just added on and then just before check out you are asked if you would like to add another tip!

Food was amazing and service was exceptional loved it and children enjoyed their meal and ice cream will defo go again.

I visited before and had the best experience I decided to bring my mom and sis for their birthday the hospitality wasn’t giving wasn’t attentive food was medi over done the manager spilt my drink and no replacement they was very rude about it I just didn’t like the experience this time we travelled for this and was very disappointed they said they wouldn’t come back

Didn’t like the fact that you have to pay via your mobile before you dine and that there was a service charge included before I’d received such service. I prefer to pay after I have dined.

.Unfortunately, I found the service lacking in professionalism. Upon our arrival at 8 PM, the waiter informed us that we needed to vacate our table by 9:15 PM. This made us feel quite rushed during our meal, detracting from our overall experience. I believe it would be more appropriate to communicate such time restrictions at the time of reservation. This would help set clear expectations and allow guests to enjoy their dining experience without feeling pressured.
