Excellent service and amazing food as usual. Such a wonderful building in gorgeous surroundings. The choice and quality of food is second to none and you will struggle to find quality as high as this outside of the lakes.
Sunday lunch was fantastic lovely food four delicious courses for £19.99 very good value in a beautiful setting very friendly helpful staff will certainly be back
Very good standard of food, excellent value for money. I would definitely return there. The staff were polite and attentive and the ambiance of the restaurant was ideal.
Lovely meal and friendly team members as usual. Thank you.
Food was great, all home cooked from fresh, well staffed and all efficient and friendly. Only issue was we did not receive any roast potatoes with our Sunday roast but had fresh veg which was enough for us, however I did notice them on plates being served close to us and we did not identify this error as we had plenty on our plates. Would recommend and will be returning again
Lovely food, friendly staff, was very busy today being Easter Sunday but we did have quite a long wait between starter and mains (20mins+) and noticed a table of 5 which arrived quite a bit later than us were served their main before us, so not so good. But will return as food is consistently good here. Well done
Went for Sunday lunch food was excellent only disappointment was when my glass of red wine came there was a squashed dead fly inside the glass when staff member was told about this the glass was changed but no apology or explanation it wasn't the gentleman who served us our meal he was very polite at all times
An excellent lunch! The food was plentiful and delicious and the hotel was festive and comfortable. We had a lovely Christmas eve and the staff were so pleasant and cheerful even though they were very busy! We will definitely bee repeating the experience sometime in the future.
Couldn't fault the food at all, and excellent service from friendly waiters topped off a great evening at the Hunday house.. One of the best meals we've eaten in years.. Would recommend to anyone, eat here and you won't be disappointed 👍
Service was great, food was very good. Whole atmosphere in the restaurant was incredibly relaxing and felt very looked after for the whole evening and would definitely recommend it to others
