Good Italian food served with a smile by what appears to be a family run restaurant. Very reasonably priced given its position on the edge of Soho.

Lovely little independent restaurant which deserves the great reviews. The food is fabulous, the staff friendly but unobtrusive and the atmosphere feels like a real old-fashioned Italian.

Excellent food, wine, service, location .... what else could you ask for in a family-run Italian restaurant! I would highly recommend Il Cucciolo to anyone. It's right around the block from Foyles.

Very nice meal. Friendly staff and good service. The food was well presented and piping hot. Service charge added though, and I thought this should be optional.

Excellent traditional Italian restaurant in the heart of Soho. Friendly service, tasty home-cooked food (fish soup was excellent!) and a nice little touch at the end of the panacotta present to take away (I guess because it's Christmas?)

Lovely food! And good to support an independent restaurant. If anything the portion sizes were a bit big - a welcome change from a leaf with a bit of drizzle. Would highly recommend a visit.

Lovely old school Italian, ideal for relaxed catch-up with friends, didn’t feel rushed at all. Delicious pasta and tiramisu and very drinkable house red. Good value for the soho location.

We booked the restaurant for a pre theatre meal and were not disappointed. The service was excellent, welcoming and efficient. We booked off the a la carte menu and all three courses were plentiful and tasty. The house white wine was a pleasant surprise. I would recommend this restaurant without hesitation.

Had the prawn starter which was nicely presented and tasted good. The pizza I had the for main was exceptional one of the best I’ve had in a UK restaurant. Only thing that stopped me giving top marks was the main too a while to come out but other than that brilliant experience

Lovely small, friendly restaurant that serves great food. Due to a points failure on the DLR we were running quite late but thankfully the restaurant held our table for us. The service was quick, efficient & courteous & the food was delicious. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

We had a nice experience when we visited the restaurant on 02/08/2018. The food was very good and the service was very friendly. The only reason I didn't give it a higher rating was the fact that we had to ask for cutlery a few times after each course (which the waiter/waitress kept forgetting to bring us). With our main pasta dishes that we ordered the staff didn't give us any spoons to eat with and I found it hard to eat my main course with just a fork. We did ask once for a spoon but as none arrived we continued with our dinner without making a fuss. All in all it was a good experience.

Initial thought was that it is an ordinary old Italian restaurant. But our concern turned to delight. The service was attentive and friendly. Our food was above expectations. Although there is no children's menu, they were happy to serve a single dish split into two. For our post theatre lunch, we couldn't have chosen better.
