I had piri piri chicken which was lovely my husband had a mixed grill which looked lovely but was a bit dry.. could’ve done with a sauce on the side or some vegetables.. overall lovely ambiance lovely staff..a tad overpriced, would only come for special occasions or just with hubby couldn’t afford to bring the family for weekly meals xx

Good choice of dishes, loved the scone and tea/coffee deal. It was the first time my son and his partner had visited the restaurant with us and they loved it.

Heard great things and wasn't disappointed, had the sea bass salad which was probably not what l would have normally ordered but it was very tasty, the posh fish and chips were also really good. Attentive staff, very helpful and friendly. All round a very pleasant dining experience.

Even before entering, the exterior with hanging baskets, planters and outside seating looks very inviting. Inside is modern and attractive making best use of the old buildings best features. Staff were welcoming and attentive. Food was excellent, extremely generous portions. Too much for me. Wine reasonably priced and good choice. We were all very impressed and wish them every success in Dunfermline.

Lovely fresh tasty food. Scallops were amazing as a starter as was the steak carpaccio. I had the Fish main that came with shrimp and "scraps" - delicious. My husband had the mixed meat platter which was lovely but could have done with a bit more sauce and something to fill the side of the plate as it was presented with half the plate empty (portion sizes good through). Rioja was gorgeous and they have a good gin selection. Cheeseboard was superb especially the Picos Blue. Nice to have something different instead of Stilton! We had Crowdie which the staff were adamant was a French goats cheese (it's a Scottish cheese from Tain) so the staff could do with brushing up their knowledge a wee bit.

Food was lovely and staff are really friendly. Visited for lunch and also stayed longer to have fresh scones and tea/coffee for desert. Could not pick a single fault out of our visit. Will defiantly go back!

Visited 2 weeks ago and had the posh fish and chips. It was lovely. Went again yesterday and had juicy chicken, 2 very small pieces of chicken and half a dozen chips.. very disappointed and for £7, the lemon tart wasn’t all that eithereither

Fab food - took my son while he was on a visit home and his comment was “thank goodness Dunfermline now has such a quality restaurant! He also said his lemon sole was the best he had eaten
