Jackson and Rye - City

Fantastic, food was delicious and the staff were fantastic. Helpful and accommodating. Only con was the food was brought out very quickly, so we didn't finish our starter before the main was brought out which meant things got cold.

My first time and Jackson and Rye and would definitely go back. I had the prawn linguine which was really good. The Staff were very attentive.

Minulla ei tarjottu uutta annosta, eika tarjoilija enaa palannut poytaamme ennen kuin han toi laskun. Lohi annos oli mukana laskussa, josta pyysin sen poistamaan, samoin kuin siihen automaattisesti lisatyn 12.5% tipin.

Great service but unfortunately the food was late and the burger was cooked to a crisp and no where th emedium it should've bee. Also the wings average at best and undercooked near the bone. The manager did take the burger off the bill and gave us a free round of drinks. As I said the service was fantastic and the staff were engaging - the food let them down a little. IT's worth noting I have eaten at this branch before and the steak and bbq platter were on point. Maybe it was an off day.

Excellent service and amazing food. Pretty busy for lunch time, but we were not rushed at all. Would definitely recommend and will come back soon.

Great service, surroundings and food. Not the best red wine by the glass selection (restaurant more focussed on whisky) but it did not spoil the meal. Lovely!

great staff good food, served in a timely manner, our servers were very polite and she recognized me from a previous lunch, which was nice.

Good food, slow in coming. We had the sea bass fillet and side broccoli with almonds and the shrimp burger which was nice for a change, great chips with skins. Would go again to eat the beef burger as they looked great.

Great staff awesome food. Loved the atmosphere and the food is excellent. Only slight negative is portion sizes were bit on the small side . Great service however

Average food. The knowledge of the menu was bad and service a bit slow. The King Prawn Linguine had big chunks of garlic in which wasn't very nice. Sent the chicken wings back.

Jackson & Rye are a team favourite for lunch and Breakfast. We've even booked a Christmas lunch. The food is great and so are the cocktails!

Service was slow - you didn't have enough people on to cope with demand - it took 30 minutes from asking for the bill for someone to come and take our money

I came here for Thanksgiving dinner, the menu had good variety and everything was delicious. Very lively space with quality service as well. Highly recommended.

Bad service. Food took 45 mins to reach table. Steak over cooked and burnt. Atmosphere not great. Venue far too big. Restaurant no where near full at 9pm Friday night. Who in their right mind would open a mediocre steak restaurant directly opposite arguably one of the best steak restaurants in the world??? This being the wonderful Goodman. The only reason I didn’t go there was that it was booked solid!

Great food, looks and feels like it should be more expensive than it is. The staff were friendly and attentitive, drinks were reasonably priced for London. Going back next week. Would recommend

Service was not on par. We kept having to wait to be acknowledged. Food was basic, not as good as last time I dined there. Not convinced on taking my client there again.

Thanks for a lovely evening - the food and atmosphere was good. Some drinks took a while and when asked they apologised and fixed it immediately!

He food was warm not piping hot and the drinks too a long time to come. We had to finish a meal and wait for a glass of wine to arrive after we were done. TBH that's not good service for the amount we paid.

Always a pleasurable experience when I dine here, the service is first class, the attentiveness to our needs is amazing. I would definitely recommend here to friends and family.

The food and coffee was cold, I did ask for an extra hot late and it was really cold and my breackfast was nice, the place is nice and personal friendly.

Delicious family lunch with excellent attentive service, especially as some of us had to daah back to thw office. Great price for a glass of champagne £8.00 too! Looking forward to returning soon :-)

Solid food and service, preferred the food for breakfast (over lunch) would happily return for breakfast. Central City location -close to Bank station -so easy to get to (from my nearby office)

Overall poor... it's a great space and nicely furnished. However our drink order didn't arrive and had to be repeated and my chicken burger arrived overcooked and dry in a stale bun. When the waiter asked if everything was ok I told him so, but he seemed disinterested. When going to pay another waiter asked how our experience was and i told him and he deducted the burger from the bill, and apologised. Some staff were great , some seemed lost.

Food was good, but staff constantly came to the table every 2 minutes to check on us/clear glasses and plates/hurry us along which was really frustrating, and got in the way of the conversation

My first visit and I was impressed. The decor was comfortable but the loos a long way down! Good service and good food, what more could you want?

I had an excellent lemon sole which was a pleasant surprise for a burger restaurant. The waiter very helpful with the wine selection. A very enjoyable lunch.

Really lovely food and great service. The only minor quibble is that the music is quite loud because there are no soft furnishings to absorb the sound. Maybe turn the music down a tiny bit so we can chat more easily..? Other than that, no complaints! We had a lovely evening.

The food and service I would happily of given both a 5, however, the droning music gave us a headache, hence the lower score. Either stop or turn the music right down, too loud.

Great place for breakfast. A good range including from the delicious egg white omelette to the indulgent pancakes. The quality of the bacon was excellent.

The lady took and hung my jacket which was a nice touch. However it was hung right in the main entrance doorway. It should be in a secure area preferabley with a hanger. I wear an expensive suit, and the jacket could have walked very easily.

Food was tasty - had the salmon with lentils -, the atmosphere was also pleasant, all in all this is a great location for a business lunch.

Lively atmosphere and good separation between bar and restaurant. Wonderful selection of whisky and cocktails with good descriptions for all drinks. Had the BBQ platter and lamb rump. Lamb was a little under cooked for my girlfriends tastes, but perfect for me. It was tasty and the accompaniments were well seasoned. The BBQ platter was underwhelming. The brisket was the biggest disappoint lacking any real flavour, save for the very edges. Chicken wings were good, but nothing extraordinary. The rib was nice, but expected more. The staff were attentive and professional and made us feel very comfortable.

Great atmosphere at lunch time with lots on the menu to choose from. Burgers could have been bigger, it was mostly bread. Staff were fantastic.

Great service, unfortunately you have taken the Quinoa burger off the menu, which was a bit disappointing. Not a lot of interesting vegetarian options ie. Mushroom risotto and a salad as only options with some sides?!

Whilst I appreciate that this is a grill, only offering one vegetarian option (mushroom risotto) and a nut salad was a bit limiting. Tasty though, and good service.

Nice and spacious. Good hearty breakfast for first thing and pretty decent coffee. Only downside is that the tables are a bit small and crammed together so you're very close to the next table. Not ideal when the place is full.

Lovely servers so friendly and professional will definitely stop by more often. The food and menu selection is always just as lovely! Thanks for a good start to the day.

Food was not as great as previous visits. Had the bavette which was a bit tough and dry despite being cooked as requested medium rare. Did mention this and was offered free desert but as on diet could not have this. was not offered anything off the bill.

I sent my boss here for a business lunch as I had such a nice experience a few weeks ago. When he arrived he was at on the left of the restaurant and felt this is where people sat when they were just drinking and snacking. When they were moved, they were then left waiting to be served for a ages and the burgers eventually arrived and the buns were very dry.

The restaurant was conveniently located and the staff were attentive. The restaurant also has a reasonable ambiance. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing. The prawn tagliatelli lacked flavour.

Disappointing food - specifically , poor quality meat . We had 2 guests , who ordered 2 different steaks - both tough. Good atmosphere , good and efficient service. Reasonably priced.

Our waitress was very attentive. The food portion sizes were filling and not overly expensive. I have requested their Christmas menus. We will definitely visit in the near future.

they changed the menu is feels a little limited only mushroom risotto for vegetarians which is what all restaurants do - so could be a little more creative. Ok if the vegetarian likes mushroom. Otherwise food good, service good, ambiance good. Also new menu and therefore new prices!!!

Good experience on the whole, service can be a little slow at times but staff are polite and friendly. Lovely breakfast! Would recommend as a perfect brunch spot.

Fish had bones in and the buttermilk chicken was a bit basic, reminiscent of kfc in all honesty but otherwise a nice bar and great décor.

Excellent food but service left a lot to be desired as my guest & I were seated at different tables until we found each other via text after 15mins!

The food is excellent and staff really helpful and attentative. My only frustration is that you cant buy a pint of peer and insfead get 2/3 of a pint but are charged the price if a pint of beer

Great decoration, nice ambience (Monday at 9:30) and excellent food. I had pancakes with berries and cream and my wife had the farmer's eggs, both of which were excellent.
