Service dropped from (overly) attentive to invisible throughout the night. The food: main courses average, with the exception of a Burger which was very poor (burnt on the outside, lacking any flavour, disappointing quality); desserts above average Cocktails: very disappointing; vodka martini not properly chilled and heavily skewed towards vermouth; negroni served with a random slice of lemon; espresso martini quite undrinkable

Reasonable range of food available, prices not too steep for the City, quick efficient service and pleasant atmosphere. The burger was very good. Nothing too imaginitve though.

Had a great visit! Food was great with a variety of options and the atmosphere. I loved the plants above the bar!

The service was a bit erratic - we had to ask for service each time we needed it. The salt and pepper squid really wasn’t that - it was more like over cooked breaded squid from the freezer. The sharing plate of chicken wings was also overcooked. OK only experience

food was not good, my steak came too well done first time around, when I complained the waiter said he would change it for me he apologised. He did change it to a medium rare one, which was fine but it was inedible as it was really tough and chewy. Chips were too salty and flavourless. All in all the food was disgusting.

Lovely restaurant! Staff were really friendly, helpful and efficient. Food was amazing and not too expensive given the quality. Cocktails were amazing and they gave us complimentary sparkling wine because it was our anniversary. Would thoroughly recommend!

Another great visit to Jackson’s. Great service. Great food. My colleagues vegan diet was even catered for.

Absolutely loved it, I would go back any time. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was great. Staff was pleasant and we did not wait at all to be served!

The service was awful with one stroppy waiter that gave 0 service. I had to get up and ask for a coffee, get up and ask for food order to be taken, get up and ask for coffee and get up and ask for bill.

The chicken from the avocado and chicken salad was a little too grilled and tasted a bit burned.

I ordered the bacon and blueberry pancake, there isn't much berries and bacons on pancakes(4 very small bacons and very few berries), it is not worth the value I paid for unfortunately.

Absolutely terrible service albeit the waiter was really nice and food came out quickly. But table was not suitable for a group of 6, we waited 10 mins to be seated because there were other people (who had finished and paid) sitting at our table and had to keep asking for water and dessert menu.

Lovely evening although very busy and quite loud. We had to find someone to take payment at the end which was a bit annoying. Generally good service though and some lovely American treats on the menu.

Limited breakfast menu but the Huevos Rancheros was delicious and plentiful. Shame the service was appalling - extremely slow, waitress not visible and spoken broken English

Today was a really important lunch as we were commiserating some bad news - thank you for looking after us so well and being a home from home. The food was comforting yet delicious, and the waiter superb. Lucky us.
