Yummers! The appetizers must be sprinkled with crack because I just craved for more and more. The waiter was prompt and polite. I found the ambiance to be very charming. The experience was heavenly as I was served a meal fit for God himself. I would eat here every day if I could afford it!

Magandang hapon (good afternoon in Tagalog). This restaurant has been an excellent discovery: mouth-watering food, good wine, attentive and really friendly service. I can’t praise it enough and since coming here twice with a friend i’ve Even started learning the language.

Servings good for two. Love their lechon kawali. Sinigang taste like home cooked. Lutong bahay, lutong Pinoy, lasang pang Pinoy. Near touristy spot. I heared they are closing down in two years so visit while you can.

Even if you are not a Filipino (my wife is) you will enjoy the diverse and well-explained menu combined with attentive service. We had a splendid birthday celebration with plenty of extra strong "Red Horse" beer and reasonably priced french wine.

Good food, ample portions. Very welcoming. Loved the gata fish and the dessert was lovely. Superb place for meet ups for kababayans. Toilet facilities are available as well.

My kids enjoyed the adobo more than my version. I love the beef kare-kare so much I just had to finish and overeat. Actually thinking of coming back next time we are in London again. The chef Josephine is very personable.

Food was okay, although didn't taste like it was all cooked fresh. Waiter insistent on trying to sit us by the window (assume it was to make the restaurant look full). Waiter could have been more personable. My Filipino wife got some of the food she misses, so I guess worth the visit.

This is my second time to dine here. In comparison to 7 years ago, service remain great but the food quality is a letdown. Suggests new set of cutleries!

Nice place to try Philipino food. The place is clean and nice both for a dinner with friends or something more intimate. Desserts are so-so but that is part of Asian cuisine and to be expected.

It really was excellent: very good food with subtle flavours, attentive, friendly service and an ambience of old-fashioned charm. We enjoyed the lunch and will definitely return. A little gem in Fitzrovia.

It doesn't get better ! Great friendly service started with a warm welcome soon followed by a refreshing cold Red Horse beer. Really great selection of Filipino Cuisine. Can recommend the Adobong Baboy it was tasty and tender. The Lechon Kawali was perfect tender succulent and beautifully crispy. My girlfriend had the Special Pancet and loved it. This restaurant comes highly recommended from us. Thanks to all the staff at Josephine's

Staff was really nice and hospitable but restaurant felt undermanned. Perhaps have more waiters during peak hours. Also it was a little bit too hot where we were sitting. Good food all in all but rice was a bit dry.

We found the venue small. We were given a very small table, which could barely support our order. The staff, however, were very helpful and friendly but since it was crowded, the two waiting staff were late in delivering our desert order. The food was well cooked and tasty, although, it wasn't comparable to the native cuisine of the Philippines - I'd say, it was a good effort. Regarding the cost of the meal, average to high, which is acceptable in today's climate of high costs. On the hold, it was an enjoyable evening.

Not as authentic as I hoped food wasn't the best the fish tasted frozen the noodles tasted like they had been made from a packet of dried noodles the drinks were warm although the staff were helpful they could not speak a word tagalog and last I found it to be rather expensive.

Very good food (one of my reasons for returning here) and a nice outdoor table. Waitress was friendly and helpful. Only complaint: the presentation of the cappuccinos could have been improved.

The food is good and the staff is friendly, accommodating, and service orientated. The only concern I have is that the food takes a while to be served. The food came up to be pricey as well for a single person for a drink and a 3 course meal. For this matter, there should be a set menu for a single person. On the contrary, I was allowed to take home my leftover food but the thing is I did not want to carry cooked food Round when I go shopping. I suggest that there should be a menu for a one dish meal to make it more affordable.

Excellent food and great family run business since 1975 : Filipino food deserves a much wider recognition. I am now married to wonderful woman from just south of where the owner comes from near Baggio, so the standards had to be high, as my wife is an excellent cook. We were not disappointed as the food selection covers just about every specialty and don't forget to end the traditional way with a shared tall glass of Halo Halo. If you are Vegan or a carnivore you are in for a treat : so leave some space for some of the very best eating in the West End and surely at some of the most affordable rates in the whole of the media belt this cute little restaurant sits in.

Second time here and I'm growing to love this place! Tasty food & lovely, friendly service. Amongst the increasingly generic looking restaurants on Charlotte St, Josephines feels like an authentic neighbourhood restaurant.

Food was not too bad though a little salty. Adobo chicken was okay but definitely not the best i've had. Might consider going again to try other dishes!

Lovely food, good service. It was very busy, all tables taken and it was clear that this is a local favourite. The meal was not expensive, standard London prices and a good range on the menu. I had tilapia in coconut sauce, pork belly and it was delicious. I would avoid the chicken adobo, really didn't do the dish justice which is odd as it's a popular choice for non-Filipinos! I will definitely be coming back. Many thanks.

Authentic Filipino dish! It takes me back to the Philippines even though I am thousand miles away. The food was superb! You can ask them their best sellers and it will surely satisfy your cravings. The staff are very nice and accommodating. I will definitely go back to this restaurant!

The quality of the food was good, although some of the dishes were not authentic (e.g., the adobo). Service was very friendly. It is by far the most decent Filipino restaurant I've tried in London.

We celebrated our grandmother's 79th Birthday at this restaurant on 23rd April and customer service was EXCELLENT! The staff were friendly, patient and always willing to help! Food was DELICIOUS and Josephine was always present to make sure that the food was up to the highest standard. It was a big meal well presented and with complimentary dessert for my Grandma's. OVERALL we were very happy and glad that we picked this restaurant to celebrate the special occasion. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Travelled for 2hrs just to be disappointed with the service. Waited for one of orders to be served until we have finished all the food. That order is what I was craving for but sad to say it seemed like they forgot it until I reminded them twice. The food is an average. They have modified the traditional Filipino cuisine which I don't fancy. As an OFW I want to eat something which will remind me of home.

The restaurant served good food and the service was superb. If you would like to try classic Filipino food, this is definitely a place to visit. The restaurant is not hard to find and is in a very good location. Though it needs a bit of refurbishment with the toilet and decor, but nonetheless the very honest and accommodating waiters made our visit worth it and would definitely come back with family and friends.

Great food and there were many options. Service was not that good unfortunately, number of staff couldn't cope up with the customers. I am hesitant to go back.
