Very friendly service, food was good, especially the moussaka (one of the best outside of Greece), tzatziki and the stifado - great tasting sauce. We really appreciated the free metaxa and limoncello at the end. That said, not much meat in the stifado (and it didn't have baby onions, just sliced regular onions), pork souvli was a bit dry, Greek salad was more of a mixed salad: no green peppers, lots of leaves (which shouldn't be in a real xoriatiki salad) and the feta wasn't really feta. The first bottle of Nemea was a bit past its best, generally the wine list wasn't great value for money.

Karavas is cute, small and friendly Greek place, I’ve been there many times and I love it. Their hummus is delicious and they one of the few Greek restaurants in London that serves the vegetarian yemista, I long time favourite of mine.

fantastic place! great food with lovely, attentive friendly staff. A large group of us went for a christmas lunch and we all had a really good time. Was very busy but didn't feel at all rushed. highly recommend

We had a lovely evening at this restaurant today. Good food, hospitality and friendly staff. We are glad we booked as I doubt we would have got a table as the restaurant was extremely busy. Despite the restaurant being busy, we did not have to wait long for our food, which was hot and reasonably priced. We booked a table for ten people and our three year old grandaughter was even given lollypops. We will definitely be going again.

Thoroughly recommend this restaurant. The personnel are friendly and knowledgeable. The food is excellent and the portions are large. A relaxing atmosphere and very good value for money.

The Karavas is lovely. Friendly staff And good food! Can’t go wrong. Does get very busy and loud but that certainly just adds to the great atmosphere
