I visited this restaurant on Saturday, food was really amazing .. i ordered kala pacha was really delicious.. also the staff was very friendly. I definitely will visit it again ..

Everything was fantastic but we didn't benefit from the students' discount. I think this is something they should take in consideration.

KISH was recommended to me by an Iranian friend and I visited with a party of 7 for a combined birthday meal. We had a great time. I would not hesitate to return. I do think the 12.5% fixed service charge is wrong- this should be optional and not added on to the final bill

The exterior of the restaurant was very stylish and eye-catching, and from the moment you entered with great hospitality, you could feel how close these staff are to the guests, and the interior decoration is very attractive, and the taste of the food is excellent, the only thing that was not good. The amount of starter in the tasting tray was very, very small compared to the price, which considering the price of £35, the amount of starter should have been more.

The Kish specials are much too large, and dominated by rice. I had enough rice to feed six people, but actually very little meat and no vegetables. (I had lamb shank). Also I telephone at 17.30 to say that I was dining with three people who were celebrating birthdays and while a number of other tabes were given birthday celebration attention, we got nothing. Very disappointing, particularly as I had been assured over the phone that some special would happen.

I went for my birthday dinner and 3 out of 5 family members weren’t well the following day (including myself. Soooo much rice with sultana’s which I couldn’t eat sitting there picking them out and the lamb neck …. I don’t know, it was just horrendous slab on the plate and the gravy was the juice it was cooking in, no thickness or substance to it. No birthday acknowledgment so why ask during booking. I was disappointed and nothing like what social media showed. I felt as though they only provide for their own culture, which is a great shame.

Warm welcome-pleased to see lots of middle-eastern people dining-so knew we had made a good choice. The waiter was quick and efficient. Ordered a minced lamb kebab, chicken breast kebab and a lamb and lentil stew. The food came very quickly. Huge portions. The rice was saffron and perfectly cooked; plump and absolutely delicious. The chicken and lamb were so tender just melted in the mouth. The flavours were stunning. The lamb stew had some flavours that I had not thought of putting together. Ordered a house glass of rose which was cheap and a bit nasty. So that was a bit disappointing but still given top marks because of the food, friendliness of the staff, nice decor and very clean toilet.

Friendly people and good service.. You dont need to wait too long for your order. The food is fantastic ,(Compliment to the chef). We will come back to eat again and will bring some friends too.
