As per usual good food pleasant staff and buzzy atmosphere! Usual Sunday steak night, two steaks (or chicken) plus a bottle of red or white - £28. What more needs saying?

We went on a Sunday lunch, fabulous beef and Yorkshire pud, so much food we couldn't eat it all. Great price too. Thanks team x

No menus - all items on wall boards - take glasses !! Food and service very good - it food options slightly 1980's Pre drinks and wine at reasonable prices

Our regular Sunday evening visit for the Steak Deal. A little quieter than usual, maybe some people away on holiday! As expected a warm welcome from Becky and a friendly catch up! Order taken and shown to our table where a basket of bread awaited. We had ordered chicken and unusually waited a while for it to appear. It did arrive and was cooked extremely well although the sides of salad and chips came at different times (longer for the chips), something which could be improved!! Nevertheless it was most enjoyable.

food was lovely and well presented however the grapes on the cheeseboard had seen better days and we had to wait an age for our dessert.

Beautiful Sunday lunch once again; two parfaits and a French onion soup for starters, 2 x beef cooked to our liking with a great assortment of vegetables and a chicken with asparagus and mushrooms (in a sauce), followed by 2 x Eton mess to finish off with. All service was timely and friendly staff. Can't find any fault!

We had a good value meal at the end of a busy day. We were welcomed by pleasant staff. The service, in bistro surroundings, was excellent and attentive, but not overly so.

Another good meal at Korks in a comfortable and friendly environment, this time for a birthday celebration. Beef bourguingon was excellent - and plenty of it. Good selection of wines.

We were well looked after on a busy Thursday lunchtime. Staff were friendly and attentive and nothing was too much trouble. The food was well prepared and presented and flavours were great. We will be going to Korks again!

Always a friendly warm welcome from Chris/ Becky and the team, highly recommended, great choice or meat/ fish and vegetarian starters and main courses with wines for every occasion. Chris is happy to advise you on your choice of wine and is very well informed.

Great food and wine ,the starter of king prawns especially good as was the French onion soup . Great atmosphere was very busy . Hope to visit again soon

Very friendly staff, good beer and excellent food, we ate there as we were at a gig there later that evening, we had a great time.

2nd visit and everything was perfect. Making a reservation was easy, we ordered and were seated quickly and the food was cooked to perfection. A must when in the vicinity.

Very nice atmosphere. The staff are very attentive and pleasant. The food is always good however my wife had steak and although very nice it could have been presented better on the plate, a bit of colour would have helped, salad etc. Overall can't complain.

Warm welcome, we chose the Sunday evening Steak deal which was excellent. Best restaurant chips I have eaten in a long time. Service very good, no room for a pudding but finished with a more than acceptable coffee. A very acceptable wine, we choose to have white, was served as a part of the deal.

Excellent food at a good price, happy welcoming staff. great wines and a nice atmosphere. Regular entertainment too - no wonder we keep on returning!

Excellent as always. Lovely carmenere to drink. Best nachos around, salmon and sea bream were delicious. Also had a taste of the beef shin, which was also fab All 4 of us loved our meals!

There were 6 of us in the party. We went for the Sunday offer of 2 steak meals with sides and a bottle of wine. This offer also included 2 veggie options as well. The staff were wonderful and the food was delicious. We all had a great evening.

Mothers day lunch, full menu and no hiked up prices. Party of 5 including dementia sufferer and toddler all well catered for. Staff friendly. Return customer.

Had a lovely evening meal in this super restaurant and ate off the set/early evening menu. The food was amazing and Tge staff were very helpful and obliging will never come again.

Food was fine. It was sometimes lacking in flavour, for example the spring veg pasta lacked seasoning and the liver was a bit tough. Service was friendly. A good neighbourhood restaurant.

Flexible friendly service, no pressure to order quickly or leave until ready. Food consistently good especially fish menu. Gluten free advice and individual dishes adapted to suit dietary needs.

We enjoyed our meal and the atmosphere again very much. Best fish pie we had for a long time. We will be back soon in a couple of months.

Very lively atmosphere on a Saturday night. Good food and excellent service. Really enjoyed the meal and good value. Would recommend and will certainly go again.

Lovely meal in a very convivial setting. Sunday lunch 2 courses for £15 is excellent value. My lamb was beautifully cooked and presented, my partner's goat's cheese was declared 'delightful'. Friendly and attentive staff. All in all, highly recommended.

Great menu for the early bird dinner. Fresh and seasonal ingredients cooked very well. Excellent value for money. The restaurant is always warm and cosy with a nice atmosphere. Good service. I eat at Korks regularly.

As always, we had a very pleasant Sunday evening meal at Korks. We ate early (6.45pm) but by 7.30/7.45pm the place was buzzing. Would thoroughly recommend.

The food was great. Jane had vege rissotto which was tasty, I had chicken, which was cooked perfectly. restaurant was cold, service ok (I got wrong starter).

Excellent as usual. Had the steak deal which is offered on Sunday evenings. Such good value, including a bottle of wine. Food lovely and staff very friendly and obliging,

The five of us enjoyed our meal but the two who had pheasant considered it overcooked. Every thing was well presented and the staff delightfu.l

Haven't been to Korks for awhile - something that will be remedied - as our meal and experience last night were excellent. The food was delicious and we were still offered the early bird option despite the time having lapsed. The staff and service were just great. We shall return again - thank you for a top night.

We as a party of four were very discounted in Korks. It seems to have to the same menu no changes since we last went some months ago, I would have though that being Christmas it would have been a bit more seltive on giving a special board with Xmas food on it, even table weren't decorated no crackers etc., very poor service some spillages on drinks handed over from waiter to customers. Possible won't re visit this place again, it was also very expensive for the food we had.

Great place for great food, always good. The early birds deal is especially good, up to 7.30 in the evening., with a good selection of wines.

Went on Valentines night - no rip off pricing as you get nearly everywhere else. Great food, great wine and great service with a smile - always a pleasure to visit.

Been going to this bistro for around 30 years and the food, staff & atmosphere are first rate. Its always our first choice because we can depend on the quality.
