The restaurant was closed when we turned up! That’s all there is to say! The windows were blacked out and looks like it’s totally shut down!

Sadly it was the closing night. Lá Boca was my favourite tapas place in Glasgow so quite sad but glad I went for the last night.

I booked on 26/12 for two with a friend who was home for Xmas but when we turned up the restaurant was closed so why was I allowed to book in the first place. I trust you can make arrangements to assist in recompensing me for this mix up?

The waitress was really nice and helpful but the food has changed since the last time I was there before summer. Not so Spanish although still nice.

Nice food with excellent service, tapas dishes come out when ready rather than all at once. Cosy atmosphere although the lighting was a little low

Gorgeous low-key rustic feel, really excellent tapas and desserts. Excellent waiting staff too who were timely and helpful and only slight niggle was the whinging voucher-couple next to us complaining about whatever was/wasn't included in their deal. La Boca isn't expensive, so just pay full price - the food is more than worth it.

Everything was lovely. The staff were very friendly and attentive, the food was delicious. Our wine was delicious, chilled. Atmosphere was great, lights dimmed as the evening went on.

Food was very average for the price. Chickpeas and potatoes under coooked. Service was good from waitresses, cocktails were pretty poor for the inflated price too

The new Vegan menu is excellent offering a choice of seven tapas and they are all half price on Thursdays. The waitresses are knowledgeable and friendly.

Food was delicious and a little bit different from the usual that you would get in any tapas restaurant. Excellent veggie selection. Fantastic service, friendly, helpful and accommodating even though we were a large party in a fairly small establishment. Would eat here again.

Far too expensive for what you get: Average price was £7 per tapas, i don't really think that a slice of tortilla is worth that, I've tasted much better from sainsbury's. Better value last time I visited (last December) Heating also wasn't working and it felt pretty chilly. Much better options for Tapas in Glasgow at more competitive prices, bit of a shame as i had recommended it to the others in my party, but don't think any of us would return.

Menu has changed not as many tapas & a lot more expensive. But food still tasted good and the coffee good. Something has changed but not for the better for the customer.

Food was tasty! But overpriced for the little amount of food served £8.00 for 1 lamb steak. £6.00 for 2 small croquettes. Disappointed as never left unsattisfied before. Won't be rushing back now!

The staff couldn't have done more for us. A big group of 8 people for 2 birthdays can't be easy. The service was as excellent as the food. Thank you for a great evening!

Authentic tapas experience. It was as though we'd wandered away from la Calle principal and found a typical restaurant frequented by locals. Well worth a visit! ¡Qué aproveche!

Service and staff very good. Liked atmosphere although background music a bit loud. Menu could have offered more choice like tapas restaurants I have visited in Spain. Dishes we chose were very tasty and full of flavour. Would try again especially if more choice on menu.

This is a very busy restaurant, very good staff, excellent service and good food. The only fault I have is that it is a bit cramped and very noisy. It was difficult to have a conversation or to hear the waitress speaking to us.

The restaurant is lovely, the service could not have been better. But we found that the food was not so great. The chips which came with the Spanish black pudding were rather tasteless. The paella seemed re-heated.

The first thing I noticed tonight was the prices have increased quite a bit since the last time we were there. The food was great as always and the service was also very good. Our bill was £70 for 4 with only 2 beers, the rest of the drinks were non alcoholic. Previously we have paid in the region of this amount but with a bottle of wine also included.

Food was very nice (menu has changed somewhat since I last visited!), service was quite lax in comparison to my many previous visits although the poor waitress did seem to be almost entirely on her own. Changes to the decor are also not for the better, most walls now just plain white paint. Not as "Spanish feeling" as it always was! Will still be back but currently my favourite Tapas restaurant is slightly less awesome than before!

Very good pre theatre menu. Staff very helpful and friendly. The food was excellent and of very high quality providing excellent value for money. Meal for 2 with wine and beer for less than £50 in the centre of Glasgow. Superb.

Food and drink good as usual but staff seemed under pressure so service slow. Surprised that, in a Spanish restaurant, 2 of the 4 sherries advertised were unavailable!
