La Lupa Ristorante & Pizzeria

We had to wait 3/4 hour for our food but the food was nice when it came. I understand there were 2 Christmas parties happening at the same time but still too long for us to wait!

A very good meal cas usual despite being very busy. Delicious pasta with a salmon sauce was eaten by me. The atmosphere was very pleasant and the service good

Very busy restaurant and the food was great. Maybe a little short staffed on the night which affected the service. Otherwise it was a very enjoyable evening.

An authentic Italian restaurant, run by Italians with an Italian chef. A varied menu of superb food, friendly welcoming staff, cosy atmosphere and in a great location. Highly recommended.

We had a great meal. The pizza was huge and delicious. We had forgotten how good they were as hadn't been there for a long time. Service was good, and good value.

Not eaten here for a long time. Had the steak which was ok but I'll stick to the Italian food next time as Rancho's is far better and hung for longer

Cold plates. Food brought out in stages leaving one of our party having finished before another started. Portion sizes nor consistent. Terrible sirloin steak. Overall very disappointing.

The staff friendly helpful service excellent, my wife and I and our 2 friends thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere the food was very good, highly recommended.

Lovely relaxing restaurant in a nice location facing Poole quay with nice friendly staff however I had calf’s liver with some gravy sauce covered in it I think this was to cover how chewy it was and very bland in fact it could have been any meat it didn’t taste like anything just chewy with a strong gray taste the vegetables were nice as where the potatoes , my wife had salmon tagliatelle which she enjoyed very much although quite overpriced oh as were the starters very basic tasting and expensive for what they were.

Lovely restaurant very authentic. Great food and good size portions. Staff very welcoming and attentive. Would definitely recommend and will visit again when next in the area.

Friendly staff, delicious food definitely recommend this Italian restaurant reasonably priced, excellent service they have a daily specials board with freshly caught fish, can’t wait to return

Great value for money! Loved the food and generous sizes! Filet steak was beautiful & home made desserts were amazing! I highly recommend the panna cotta or vanilla cheesecake which me and my partner shared because we couldn't decide which to get!

Sunny day in Poole which meant the restaurant was quiet - just what we wanted. The waiter was perfect - friendly, knowledgeable and attentive without being bothersome. Food was excellent, all freshly cooked which meant a wait but as we had a table window looking out onto the quays there was plenty to occupy us. The fish, skate, was particularly good particularly. La Lupa is at the quiet end of the Poole quay, which suited us perfectly. Splendid lunch overall.

Staff very friendly, the décor a bit dated, and food nice but was expecting better for the price and rating that it got on trip adviser.

Excellent food, good service. Lovely atmosphere, quite intimate. Loved the local Italians using the restaurant. Great position on the quay, so lovely after dinner too sit and watch the goings on in the harbour.

Restaurant has a great atmosphere, the staff are friendly, professional and the food is amazing. This is the second time when visiting Poole that we have chosen La Luna. Highly recommended.

Nice, friendly, quaint place. Very friendly staff. My friend ordered fish and asked for it to be be deboned but it wasn't fully done and so she spent a long time doing it herself. Apart from this a lovely experience and great homemade Italian food.

Lovely restaurant situated on Poole Quay. We received a very warm welcome upon our arrival, the staff were charming and very attentive. The evening menu offered a very wide choice of dishes with a very large selection of fresh fish dishes listed on the specials blackboard. The food was very good and the service excellent. All in all, highly recommended.

My husband had Mussels to start. I had avocado and prawns and we both had prawn and scallop tagliatelle. The food was plentiful and lovely. Very friendly staff.

Amazing Pizzas at La Lupa. Been going there for over 30 years. Very friendly staff. its a bit out of the way along the quay but worth the walk

My pizza was good, my partner's steak was mediocre, the tiramisu had little taste; the service was good and the restaurant had a nice ambience.

Food and service fantastic, felt like we were in Italy. An authentic hideaway in the old harbour of Poole, opposite Sunseeker ship yard and the most amazing ships.

We had Great time having dinner here everyone had pizza. No one had any complaints with the food. The service was very good. The only complaint we had was they do not sell Sanpellegrino Lemonatta or any other flavour. Which an Italian drink!

Very pleasant family run restaurant overlooking the quayside at Poole. The menu is quite varied and includes a special, which is very good value, as well as other blackboard specials. Based on our one visit, we would have no hesitation in recommending eating here.

Despite being very busy on Saturday evening the service was as good as ever. The quality of the food was wonderful. I had delicious sardines as a starter. We will be back very soon!

Superb as ever , we have been going there since 1978 , but I had not been for a year or so. Little changes which is nice just consistently good food and service.

Very slow service as booked for 8.00pm but didn’t start eating until 9.30pm. Specials highly priced. Nice atmosphere on a busy Saturday pm. Not up to its previous high standard, friendly service. Good Cannelloni if prefer veggie.

Another wonderful meal with great pasta and a delicious cheesecake to follow. You always get a very warm welcome here. There are always some delicious specials available, especially fish dishes. Don’t miss this restaurant!

Unfortunately food was not as good as we have had on previous visits. Would say slightly over priced. Although service was good and generally good atmosphere.
