La Lupa Ristorante & Pizzeria

Despite the restaurant being very busy the service and food were excellent. It is one of our favourite restaurants and the staff always make every effort to ensure we have a great evening there.

We were the only people in on a Saturday lunchtime but the staff were Very accommodating, the atmosphere suited our needs and the food was perfect, thank you!

The food was delicious, but the service was not up to the usual standards that I have previously experienced at La Lupa. On this occasion we had to wait for 20 minutes after having our dinner plates taken away before deciding to go and ask for a desserts menu and more drinks.

Great service and most food delicious. Arrabiatta especially good. Bruschetta a bit dry and restaurant was a bit cold but we will visit again and would recommend.

Very nice meal and friendly staff would definitely recommend this restaurant. Price for the meals were very reasonable. Good variety of choice on the menu.

Great genuine Italian food, excellent low key service and a friendly atmosphere. Good menu and wine selection available. Also a lovely location on the Quay front.

The ambiance of the restaurant is a typically Itallian Taverna. We were made to feel very welcome. A couple of the wines we asked for, from the wine list, were unavailable. A couple of the meals were not as hot as they could have been. However all this said,we were a party of 10. We all ate our Meals and I ,as a couple, will definitely return.

Lovely restaurant, and a really good atmosphere. We all had different starters all good but skimped on the mushrooms small portion. Main courses great and pipping hot! Good value.

Lovely food as usual. The pizzas were excellent and the lasagne very tasty. Service was unusually a little under par but we had a lovely time none the less.

We had to wait 3/4 hour for our food but the food was nice when it came. I understand there were 2 Christmas parties happening at the same time but still too long for us to wait!

A very good meal cas usual despite being very busy. Delicious pasta with a salmon sauce was eaten by me. The atmosphere was very pleasant and the service good

Very busy restaurant and the food was great. Maybe a little short staffed on the night which affected the service. Otherwise it was a very enjoyable evening.

Great atmosphere, great wait staff, great food - what more can you ask! Loved my spaghetti Napoli, one of the best tomato sauces I have had.

Great food and excellent service. The only issue was the on line booking somehow did not make it onto there appointment book but we was accommodated anyway. great evening had by us all. Highly recommended.

An authentic Italian restaurant, run by Italians with an Italian chef. A varied menu of superb food, friendly welcoming staff, cosy atmosphere and in a great location. Highly recommended.

We had a great meal. The pizza was huge and delicious. We had forgotten how good they were as hadn't been there for a long time. Service was good, and good value.

Not eaten here for a long time. Had the steak which was ok but I'll stick to the Italian food next time as Rancho's is far better and hung for longer

Cold plates. Food brought out in stages leaving one of our party having finished before another started. Portion sizes nor consistent. Terrible sirloin steak. Overall very disappointing.

The staff friendly helpful service excellent, my wife and I and our 2 friends thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere the food was very good, highly recommended.

Lovely relaxing restaurant in a nice location facing Poole quay with nice friendly staff however I had calf’s liver with some gravy sauce covered in it I think this was to cover how chewy it was and very bland in fact it could have been any meat it didn’t taste like anything just chewy with a strong gray taste the vegetables were nice as where the potatoes , my wife had salmon tagliatelle which she enjoyed very much although quite overpriced oh as were the starters very basic tasting and expensive for what they were.

Lovely restaurant very authentic. Great food and good size portions. Staff very welcoming and attentive. Would definitely recommend and will visit again when next in the area.

Friendly staff, delicious food definitely recommend this Italian restaurant reasonably priced, excellent service they have a daily specials board with freshly caught fish, can’t wait to return

Great value for money! Loved the food and generous sizes! Filet steak was beautiful & home made desserts were amazing! I highly recommend the panna cotta or vanilla cheesecake which me and my partner shared because we couldn't decide which to get!

Sunny day in Poole which meant the restaurant was quiet - just what we wanted. The waiter was perfect - friendly, knowledgeable and attentive without being bothersome. Food was excellent, all freshly cooked which meant a wait but as we had a table window looking out onto the quays there was plenty to occupy us. The fish, skate, was particularly good particularly. La Lupa is at the quiet end of the Poole quay, which suited us perfectly. Splendid lunch overall.

Staff very friendly, the décor a bit dated, and food nice but was expecting better for the price and rating that it got on trip adviser.

Excellent food, good service. Lovely atmosphere, quite intimate. Loved the local Italians using the restaurant. Great position on the quay, so lovely after dinner too sit and watch the goings on in the harbour.
