About La Petite Bretagne - Hammersmith
About the restaurant
The primary strength of both La Petite Bretagne’s creperie-restaurants (here in Hammersmith but also over in Clapham) are their ability to put paid to five persistent myths about the gallant French pancake. La Petite Bretagne’s crepes are made from buckwheat, so they’re gluten-free; sure, there are plenty of sweet options on the menu, but lots of savoury galettes, too; they’re as healthy as can be (try the smoked salmon, spinach and tomato crepe); they’re filling enough to satisfy the biggest appetites; they’re made fresh to order, right here in La Petite Bretagne’s Beadon Road kitchen! Wash the lot down with a Kerisac cider, some damn fine (but affordable) French wine and, voila, you’ve got a northern French creperie that elevates the art to that of a proper restaurant experience.
