Lovely restaurant away from the town centre, great well priced food.

Took friends with us for their 50th wedding anniversary, and had a great evening. Lovely atmosphere , food nicely cooked and the young lady serving us was very attentive. Thank you

The waiter was outstanding! Real naturally gifted man in the business. Food was excellent as expected. Generally a great hidden gem. I would highly recommend to all friends and family.

mediocre experience this time im afraid which was greatly disappointing as it is usually very good. service and food not up to scratch.told waitress was new.....then why leave her on her own out front of house most of the time ??? having said that owner/manager took the wine off our bill. shame as it took the edge off our meal which was for our 1st wedding anniversary !

They were prepared for our arrival for party of 10. Pleasant atmosphere .Service a bit slow. Waitress not particularly happy. We all enjoyed our meals which were cooked well.

lovey atmosphere and a good selection of meals . this was for a special occasion and came up to expectation. we would go again as close to get to for us as well.

Fantastic service. The food was amazing and very reasonably pricedrelaxed. It's a nice restaurant with a very relaxed atmosphere and at no time did we feel rushed. I would definitely go again for any occasion.

Allways welcoming. Quiet ,intimate,cosy little restsurant but big on quality ! Have been here several times and have never had a bad meal here.it is a favourite of mine and my husbands.

I have lived here most of my life and.this is the first time I've been to this restaurant - but definitely not the last. It's a traditional Italian trattoria with fantastic food at a very good price.

A comfortable, clean, not expensive Italian restaurant with charm. Excellent, tasty, delicious food, Excellent ambience, and Excellent service. My partner and I recommended a wonderful evening.

reception was not warming, staff did not smile, plastic table cloths made it feel like a café, we were felt rushed, food was ok but portion size was small,

Another brilliant meal here. The steak is always good.lovely bottle of red wine. Service excellent. Check out the day menu choices as well always excellent value. Looking forward to my Xmas meal there on the weed Dec.

very pleasant. Waiter attentive, but did not rush us. Only complaint was the plastic table cloths, which made the experience which otherwise would have been an extremely pleasant dining experience, somewhat tacky.

Used to be regulars years ago under previous ownership, took New reviews on board and revisited for our Wedding Anniversary. Would not return, food was poor quality and the service was also poor, nothing but house wine by the glass and we never got a dessert menu at all, even though neighbouring tables were served ahead of us. Unfortunately the staff seem to favour their regulars, a shame, as they were not even full compared to when the previous owners were in charge and it was ALWAYS fully booked and Franco always had to turn people away. Will not be returning.

We had a lovely evening. The food was good. The staff were friendly and the service was excellent. Would definitely recommend this restaurant. Nice atmosphere.

Food was great and also the service. They even remembered that we had been before and had crème de menthe as a liqueur. Would definitely go back and recommend to friends.

great food, bit slow on service for drinks and then forgot but it was rectified, good prices and good set menu, the veg is very limited tho, you get 3 cut in half new potatoes , 4 green beans and half a carrot so this needs to be looked at but we did order extra chips which I'm glad we did

Saturday was my first visit to this restraunt it was everything I had hoped for a, small family styled Italian restraunt food was excellant service friendly and efficent red wine good and every thing good value only one slight critisism glass of house white could have been colder. A very enjoyable evening.

The starters were very nice as was the main meals overall it was good,the down side was the dessert we had profiteroles (quantity 3 on each plate) for £ 4.50 was poor value.

Food always good at this restaurant. I think the interior could do with a bit of an update but somehow I like the old school authentic charm. It's good food without the trendy twaddle !

Excellent food with great service. With a table of 8 sometimes restaurants struggle but there were no issues getting all the food out at once and everyone enjoyed it.

Fantastic Italian very friendly in there with great food. Waitress was very attentive and made sure that we had every thing that we needed to enjoy our meals.
