Original drinks waitress forgot to bring water as requested. Food very good. Atmosphere good. Service good. No pressure for more wine or desserts good. Would recommend.

As a first time visitor I was impressed with the food and the restaurant itself. There were a couple of occasions when the waitress approached our table with drinks we hadn't ordered and then when we did order drinks we had to chase them, other than that we were happy with the service, the food and the surroundings, I would definitely recommend to a friend

Amazing mezze! Plenty of big grill dishes too if that's your thing. Very busy so definitely book regardless of what evening it is. Look forward to going back!

First of all, I arrived early, ahead of my friends and in the ten or so minutes I was there, the staff were attentive (but not intrusive) and ensured I was OK and had what I wanted while I waited. This might not sound like much, but the day before I had been at a restaurant where we had virtually been ignored, which makes attentive service even more noticeable - and everyone was nice and very friendly. The restaurant itself is lovely but the food is even better! The portions are generous and I can definitely recommend the spinach with yogurt, which, while a typical dish in Turkish restaurants was the best I've ever tasted. We all enjoyed the food and we are vegetarian, pescetarian, gluten-free and restricted diet and we didn't even have to mention any of this because we were well catered for. Finally, my friends and I sat chatting for quite a while and we were left alone to do so, which was great as we hadn't seen each other for a while. I would definitely recommend La Turka and will certainly be going back.

I went with my wife and we thought the food and service was excellent. Food was very tasty and plentiful. The meatball main was amazing.

Loverly meal and great atmosphere. Service was excellent. We enjoyed the lux mere for 2, lamb skewers and a mix of tapas. All cooked to perfection. Will definitely be returning.

Other tables orders were taken first despite us arriving before them. Tables too close together and waiter squeezing between them and his bum was practically in my face whilst eating. Extremely rude waiter who directed everything to my b/f and didn’t interact with me at all. I was given my desert and my b/f desert arrived a good 7/8 mins later. Then to top it off trying to get someone’s attention to be given the bill was very hard. So all in all ok food but poor service.

Staff very friendly.food perfect .service good and nice atmosphere. Would definitely go again with family. Not much more to say best meal we have had in a long time.

Hi, we booked la turka for our valentines meal, needless to say it did not disappoint the atmosphere was excellent, the staff could not do enough for you and the food was amazing.

My favourite restaurant in Monton, staff are lovely, food amazing and service is great. La Turka is always my first choice of places to eat.

Great food, very filling, we ordered sides not knowing how much of our main we would get, so we ended up passing on desert, next time I won't get extras so I can have room for a pudding. Drinks were good and the staff were very attentive and helpful.

Lovely restaurant, friendly staff and good service. Reasonably priced menu and lots of viarety, good choice menu. Large portions, go hungry! We liked the availability and viarety of the allergy menu too.

Never disappointed with La Turka, Monton. This visit was for a birthday of a family member who lives in Rutland and was here with her friend. They were thrilled not only with the food but with the whole experience - but added to this the manager was particularly welcoming and friendly - without being intrusive in any way and the staff were also very efficient, friendly and polite. The food is great - highly recommend.

Great night at La Turka on Thursday. Staff were attentive and had good knowledge on dishes on offer (and there are lots). Four of us all chose a different dish and every one was delicious. Would recommend

My partner and I were in Manchester for the weekend as my partner was on business. We found La Turka on Google maps and we love Turkish style food. We were not disappointed, the service and food were fantastic and the restaurant is kept to a very high standard. It's a shame I'm not local.

Good food in very pleasant surroundings with pleasant, friendly service. Easy, free parking in the Monton village car park make this a very convenient venue.

Great service and great food! We were really looked after and the food cane quickly. We went on Sunday but there is live music on Fridays and Saturdays so definitely try those days!

Food great, staff (management) not particularly friendly and we watched them speak quite badly to the younger obviously new staff. I understand they have to be trained but seemed quite aggressive towards them and our experience of the younger staff at our table was that they were very polite and attentive.
