This was a 60th Wedding Anniversary dinner. Great foood, excellent friendly service, & we were treated to a special plate at the end of the meal with "Happy Anniversary" scrolled in chocolate!

It was quiet when we visited but it was a Wednesday! The welcome was great by the owner, food really good value for money and delicious. Lovely ambiance and would love to return soon.

Fantastic. Great food - monkfish wrapped in Palma ham and prawns. Seabass on bed of pasta. Both lovely. Beautifully cooked and presented. Great service. Everything was perfect.

Wonderful meal. A real culinary experience in a lovely environment. So nice to be able to hear ourselves speak to each other and not have to compete with other people shouting. Food was incredible and service professional but friendly. It was an anniversary meal and Lanes made it a night to remember. Would definitely recommend and hope to visit again someday.

It was our first visit here.I wanted a good restaurant to take our visitors who are here from Melbourne.We were also celebrating wedding anniversaries, ours was 52 yrs and our guests 33 yrs.We told the waitress who greeted us and at the end of our meal she brought out a plate of small decorated fruits with a greeting piped onto the plate in chocolate.It was a really lovely touch. We were all very impressed by the interior of the building. As we also were with her friendly,cheerful greeting.We were amazed at how she coped with all the customers on her own.The food was excellent, beautifully cooked and presented with a good choice. The perfect dining experience.

A lovely birthday meal. Excellent service and food! I am Gluten free and the chef adapted a main fish course to suit me and it was delicious and no after effects! That doesn’t happen often! Lovely relaxed atmosphere and it rounded my birthday off beautifully. Thank you.

Great welcome. Lovely menu to choose from and we weren’t disappointed. We had the sea bass and it was delicious. Perfectly cooked and plenty of fresh vegetables. Attentive service and we will definitely return if we stay in Lymington again. Highly recommend a visit.

Amazing work done by front of house/waitress. She was enjoying her work, Knew her dishes and was able to chat with guests. The food was plated up well and each of the dishes enjoyed by our group of 6 was rated excellent. The wine list included lower cost/by the glass offerings as well as bottles for special occasions. A memorable meal. What a pity we are all tourists from Australia now travelling on from a week in Lymington.

We went to Lanes nearly 5 years ago, the food, service & atmosphere was brilliant. It's still the same today and that is nearly 5 years later, the whole team work so hard to make your evening as relaxed and enjoyable as possible. Go and try the food, relax, let the team deliver there food for you to enjoy

Lovely meal and friendly team. Good seafood. There was a big group in for a party the night we went so it was quite noisy but didn't affect the service. Usually its a bit quieter. Would recommend but you need to book as its always popular!
