The food here is always excellent. The atmosphere is good, staff are very pleasant. It's advisable to book to make sure you get a table. They have some very good sherries!

Very generous portions of well cooked Spanish food. The blonde steak was really tasty and well worth the money. Pleasant surroundings and efficient staff all added to a really good night out.

Brilliant restaurant, food was great, atmosphere superb, also very well run in terms of service. The price was also good, the restaurant was full, which indicates how popular it is, a lot of returning customers.

As usual we had a great dinner. We had very tipical Spanish tapas including croquets, octopus, padron peppers among others. We had an amazing red wine too.

Lovely little restaurant on Columbia Road. Way above average quality tapas, the barbequed Iberico porc is fantastic. Excellent value for money. Sole point of criticism: selection of music did not enhance the overall experience. Who wants to hear mainstream pop in a cosy and cute little tapas bar? Something quiet and classy would suit the place much better.

We had an amazing time. Andy, Eduardo we're excellent hosts! The food and el vino were superb and delicious. The icing on the cake was seeing Gilbert the cat, whom was the real reason we came to London and Columbia Road all the way from Toronto. He put on a great show for us on the street and said hi! Bravo Laxeiro! We will return. Rico and William

Excellent small restaurant. Very good choice of tapas - and great value for money. Large portions - padron peppers, strips of pork loin, rice blackpudding with quail eggs and well aged steak were particular highlights. Very well priced wine - smooth Rioja for £25. Friendly service - all in all an excellent place.

Great little Galician / Spanish tapas restaurant: this has been a neighbourhood favourite for years. Good food, good wine, cosy atmosphere, friendly staff, great value. And if you're lucky a friendly cat called Gilbert will come and sit with you.

Really enjoyed our visit, enjoyed some of the best tapas we have had in London. Ordered mainly staple dishes like patatas bravas and gambas al ajillo but all were cooked to perfection and very tasty. Great tortilla de espinacas too. Great neighbourhood feel to the restaurant and friendly staff

Great quality food as usual but we had poor service today - the drinks took forever and three dishes had gone cold before the final two dishes arrived. You expect tapas dishes to arrive at differ times but not 20 mins apart! The waiter was inattentive to us but happy to chat to the people next to us. It's disappointing as we usually have a great experience at Laxerio.

Good service and very attentive. Good selection of meals. We had fish, which was cooked to perfection. Although it was a platter for two, I think I could have eaten it all on my own. Good ambience. Would definitely recommend .

The atmosphere is great and the food and wine are excellent. The Paella is the best I have tasted inside or outside Spain. You have to book very rarely can you walk in off the street. Great decor - contemporary and relaxed

Excellent food and service, Spanish traditional food at its best. Highly recommend the pulpo, the avocado & mango salad and the crema catalana. The food is utterly delicious and evokes the memory and taste of the home cooking.

Really lovely food and nice atmosphere. We loved the white Rioja and garlic chicken. Staff could have been a little friendlier as they seemed to rush around a lot. Still lovely and fab location.

The food was very flavourful, portions were decent and filling, nice atmosphere. The Sangria was very fresh and if we had more people definitely would've opted for the Paella as every table that had it was raving about it.

An absolute find! What a fabulous little restaurant. Make sure to book ahead as its a small and popular haunt. The atmosphere is upbeat but not too lively. Soft music, loads of chatter, attentive staff, utterly delicious food and fab Spanish gin. The king prawns are divine and just how they should be - fresh, juicy and enormous. Well worth a visit.

Great as always! Service a tiny bit hectic but we enjoyed the new additions on the menu. The iberico ribs are amazingly good and the cheese board as a cheeky dessert is fantastic! And.... The Montsant Bri wine is just the perfect red for that!
