We went to the restaurant for the muscles special but there were so many other dishes on the menu that appealed to us that we went off a the main menu the fish cakes and the tiger prawns to start and my friend enjoyed his sea bass and my builibase was excellent the service was friendly and we were not hurried and well looked after by Charlotte and sky it was our first visit but we will definitely be back to sum up great food and service a winning combination

Good service, excellent food the hake was haddock but it was explained prior to ordering and was as good if not better. Mushroom starter was a little disappointing as the mushrooms were very small. Chocolate tarte dessert was devine.

Food was delicious - and plenty of choice. We had a couple of vegetarians in our party and they felt well-catered for. Friendly service. Lovely, small venue and quite busy for a Monday night. Good atmosphere.

We booked on line which was nice and easy. We were welcomed on arrival and given a choice of tables. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was lovely. I especially enjoyed the red wine of the week.

Food was really nice but the service could of been much better. Restaurant wasn't too busy as it was a weekday. Got sat down but never got ask about drinks. Also at the end we asked for the desert menu but after waiting 10 minutes we gave up and ended up asking for the bill. The toilets could do with a refurbishment. I would like to go again and try some other dishes.

Staff are brilliant and food was tasty. Would definitely recommend. Vegan selection available. A good range of food and delicious french cuisine. Reasonable priced too!

Lovely evening - great atmosphere and delicious food, always with good service. Pork belly and mussels a particular highlight and I loved the Hake. We will definitely be back soon.

I would definitely recommend and Le Misral. Small intimate place, with no loud music or television blaring out. Good atmosphere, very good food and pleasant staff.

There is a very good choice of food to suit all tastes. The staff are friendly and attentive. Prices are extremely reasonable. We will most definitely return.

Excellent food and fantastic service. An improvement on our last two visits to the Nottingham City Centre Le Mistral which had sadly had a dip in standards.We will be returning to Sherwood!

It’s always a pleasure at Le Mistral in Sherwood! The atmosphere is very friendly and welcoming, and the team are naturally personable and always go that extra mile. Special thanks to Davide and Charlotte for making our last meal the most enjoyable yet, with a lot of entertaining conversation! Could not recommend Le Mistral enough, go once and you’ll be going back again and again.

I did not enjoyed it at all because quandoo confirma tables when the restarurqnt downs have one available. Luckly the manager kindly called me to let me know they didn’t have any table for that night. In the future I’ll not make a booking with quandoo but directly with Le Mistral which I love or any other restaurant.

Manager a bit surly and made me feel like a naughty school girl when I questioned the bill re wine offer...didn't really need the "chat" if we didn't qualify don't reduce the bill...however food was tasty. Dinned at Sherwood branch a few times over the years and had both good and average experiences.

Great place to go, they have recently changed the menu and is superb now, food amazing and the staff as lovely as always, highly recommended!

First time visiting this lovely little French restaurant in Sherwood - really nice food, friendly staff & a great ambience - we intend to go back for Sunday lunch - we couldn’t get in last time !!

Loved the cidre moule and beautiful crackling on the pork, overall the food was very good. Liked the choice of wine but was comparatively expensive. Attentive service.

Unfortunately, the restaurant called back and cancelled so cannot rate the restaurant itself. Luckily we managed to get a table at short notice elsewhere. This is mainly a criticism of Quanadoo in that it clearly isn't a live system therefore your booking can't be relied upon until you get confirmation from the restaurant itself. To avoid disappointment, I'll pick up the phone and give them a call next time!
