Food was ok but seafood dish was a bit of a disappointment

Lemongrass never fails to delight. Delicious food, beautifully presented with excellent service. Always a reliable option for a dining out treat that will please the whole family.

We enjoyed a really very good meal and a nice G&T. The restaurant is much larger internally than would appear from the street. Excellent service too.

The food was excellent as usual. The service is good but may be a little too prompt. I'd like to actually put my cutlery down after the last mouthful before plates ate whisked away! Maybe give customers 5 minutes after finishing before clearing away. Felt a bit rushed.

Excellent service - the waiters were impeccable and very accommodating - and the food was absolutely beautiful. My husband and I had Set Menu A, which was quite a traditional selection of starters and mains to share. Every item, from the prawn toasts and dips to the Thai green chicken curry and egg noodles, was cooked to perfection and so full of flavour. We will definitely be returning to Lemongrass! Thank you for a wonderful dining experience.

The food was as expected having had takeaway from here before that was very good with a lot of options. The restaurant is spacious, the staff were attentive.

Lovely welcoming surroundings. Staff that are really friendly and polite. Food that is utterly lovely-great menu choice-highly recommended to try. A great addition to the local area

The meal was excellent and staff very attentive. Lovely surroundings and very clean. Good choice and prices reasonable. Very busy so a bit difficult to have a conversation with my guest as noisy.

Welcoming, Friendly and attentive staff we had set menu A. The food arrived promptly and hot plentiful and very tasty. We will be returning soon.

Lovely decor which is clean ,fresh and modern with friendly staff. Extensive menu and beautifully cooked food. Would highly recommend for couples, families and special occasions.

The food was great- a little wait as it was busy and the chef was new but worth the wait. We will go back again.

Just needs to offer some dishes with a higher heat level - the chilli has been toned down for suburban palettes! Or maybe offer some spicy condiments?

Pleasant surrounding, attentive service. The food was ok but not out of this world. Don't feel terribly drawn to go back but I will check it out again.

Good food nice place bit expensive but all in all nice evening would i go back yes . So many reasons to visit Lewes again.

The food was excellent and so were the staff at the beginning, but once the restaurant began to get busy you could clearly see there was a lack of staff. I really felt for the waiters as they had about 10 tables to cover each and service was slow because of that. Once our table was cleared after our main meals we were left waiting asking if we wanted another drink or the desert menu for around 20 minutes. Overall a really nice restaurant but could seriously do with some more staff.

lovely atmosphere, delicious beautifully presented food, our first visit but sure to return. service was attentive , although restaurant overall was very hot, perhaps a little less heat.

Service was good. The food was cooked well and the sauces were good, however the seafood had no flavour at all. Felt it was overpriced given the quality of the fish.

Nice ambience, but really style over substance. Overlarge and overwhelming portions of average quality food, most of which appeared not to be authentcally Thai at all. Take away the red and green curries (passable), and one was left with lumps of battered meat in sweet sauce, huge boats of mixed vegetables and rather tasteless noodles. Superior competition exists in this town which doesn't allow for this level of ordinariness.

A group of 11 of us visited, most of us not really having much experience of Thai food. As it was a lunchtime, most of us ordered from the Tapas menu. I was a bit concerned that there wouldn't be enough food, but I shouldn't have worried, because there was plenty and it was all delicious! We've already decided that we're going to have our works Christmas lunch there, it was SO good!

Great food, great service and a great atmosphere would definitely go again. The service was very quick and we were also asked if we would like to wait 5-10 mins between starter and main course. Thank you for a great meal

We had a good meal for a reasonable price and the service was excellent. The restaurant is spacious and in a good central location in Lewes.

Excellent meal for party of 5. All had different menu choices. Portions ample and very tasty. Helpful staff but not intrusive. A very good evening. Second time of visiting this particular branch and we will be returning.

Great place. Nice decor, friendly staff and fab food. I went with a business colleague in a Monday evening and the place was busy but not overcrowded.

Excellent food, wonderful attentive service and good value for money. We shall deffiinately be going back again. The decor is a little sterile and a few more furnishings would enhance the atmosphere.

The food at Lemongrass is really delicious and the portions are generous and the service is friendly and quick. We look forward to returning soon.

Too noisy,no consideration regarding the noise either,no apologies even though it was very obvious people were getting annoyed. Fair enough the noise was from a very large party of people but maybe they should have been seated away from everyone else and maybe the staff could have apologised for this instead of ignoring it. We left early because of this.

Delicious freshly cooked thai food, very large portions, presented beautifully. Taste was amazing, service was fantastic. We will definitely be back, thank you for a great evening.

We'd heard about the Lemongrass from friends ,so thought we would try it for ourselves, The surroundings and decor were lovely and the food first class. Don't go unless your really hungry because the portions are large, Will be going again very soon

Food exsquisite......venue huge n the best.........staff warm friendly.....BUT at times too caring also fussin around etc.....personally I like waitin staff to be low key and not push for one to order more etc...... Other friends have also mentioned over keen staff........however your food is wonderful and I'm spreading the news of Lemongrass.

Having read a couple of mixed reviews we weren't sure about booking here, but decided it best to make up our own minds and give this new restaurant a go. So glad we did. The service was prompt, attentive but not intrusive, and with good humour (essential with our table!). The menu offered an excellent range of items to choice from, and we decided to go off piste rather than pick the set menus. With starters and mains selected we settled in, and it didn't take long before the first courses came. The tastes equaled the smells we had been already sampled, and made for happy diners. The mains also came out to the same high standards, and the four of us spent a very pleasurable couple of hours in this fine Thai restaurant. Why 5 rather than 6? Simply because the cost was a little over the average, but not by much, and we all felt that it was well worth it. Highly recommended.

First and foremost the food was delicious, brilliantly presented and served in a very friendly plus attentive manner. We experienced a most enjoyable evening and certainly recommend the restaurant as we all thought that it was good value for the money paid.
