Great prompt service all evening. Food quality was excellent for everyone in the party, each of which was a different order. Recommended. I will try to eat here more often.

The staff were brilliant. The lunchtime menu was absolutely scrummy. The House Red was top drawer. Booked to go again next month. Nuff said. Thank you 😎

I visited little Italy at the weekend and ordered lobster linguine which was absolutely delicious. My husband had lamb cutlets and wasn’t as happy with his choice. We also had cocktails and deserts that were very nice, although I did feel the cocktails could be a little cheaper at £9 each. Over all staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was nice. I would definitely return.

Second visit took family food very good staff very friendly. Tried a new fish pasta which I would recommend. Restaurant was packed by the time we left which is a good sign.

Lovely food and fantastic service. Had to move tables as original one was really dark - couldn’t read the menu. Second table much better. Frutti de mare linguine fantastic!

Excellent food and brilliant service combined with cheap prices. Would recommend this place to anyone. The staff were excellent too just the right amount of service.

Authentic Italian cuisine... clean and elegantly presented restaurant, with crisp white linen tablecloths, and romantic candles flickering on each table. Friendly, smiling staff, patient and helpful with menu choices. A pizza order was met with a cutlery change, to ensure a pizza knife for good cutting-slicing. Rustic pizza, just like in Italy (no added sugar like at other “chain” restaurants), with generous toppings (more generous than other “chain” pizza restaurants). Good quality Italian wine, and the owner-manager Leonardo made time to have a brief chat with the diners to make sure everything was satisfactory. If my only gripe was the stones missing from the olives, then what else can I say? For “real” authentic Italian food, sensibly priced, in a warm, friendly restaurant, look no further!

The restaurant was very busy but we still had an excellent meal all served at a pace that suited us. very much looking forward to next time.

The quality and quantity of food is really excellent on this very nicely presented restaurant in the heart of Shirley. Fantastic service too! Happily recommend this restaurant.

What a wonderful place. Manager & staff couldn’t do enough for us. Had my sisters 50th there. They made it fantastic evening. Would highly recommend.

We have been a few times to Little Italy & each time the food has been excellent. The waitress service is brilliant & the staff are very welcoming. I would highly recommend this place to eat.

This is a busy popular restaurant. The menu is extensive, food very good and well presented. The staff are friendly and attentive. Happy to recommend.

Nice food but lacking in amosphere. Good service a little too attentive. Harsh lighting, not the best background music. Smarmy waiter. Not in a hurry to go back.

Lovely meal friendly staff had a really lovely time .The place is lovely and clean and some lovely pictures of Italy which bring back memories of when we were there and it is convenient to park in parkgate

Table booked online at 6pm, we were seated at 8pm. Food was superb, waiting staff very attentive and the night was topped off with a lovely Italian gentleman playing guitar and singing. We will definitely be back there soon

The waiters were absolutely very kind. But there was a misunderstanding. Because only one of us had ordered brushetta which appeared to have to be eaten for the main meal, and this person was eating very slowly because the brushetta was quite crusty, we kept waiting for the main meal for maybe one hour. The person who was eating felt awkward because she was the only one eating and we were given a place in the middle of the restaurant close to the bar, so she felt as if everyone was watching her. Also, I misunderstood the meal I ordered because I thought it was vegetarian and it turned out that there was meat in it. I read the ingredients and the ingredients that were mentioned on the menu were all vegetarian. It turned out that from the Italian name of the dishone could have known that it was not vegetarian and that from a V you could know if a dish was vegetarian or not. It was a bit confusing and we came in a bit tired so i just concluded from the ingredients that it was vegetarian and it did not occur to me to go looking for a letter V. Anyhow, the dish was taken off the bill which was very kind. The restauarnt seemed very clean and I liked the Italian pictures on the wall, which really contribured to the atmosphere. I would definitely like to come back.

Very nice evening. Food excellent. Restaurant telephoned earlier in the day to check that we were still coming, and I asked for a window seat for 4 persons which they arranged. Altogether a good experience.

This is the second time I have been to this restaurant and I was not disappointed; it was a first time for my companion and he was very impressed. The service was faultless...all the staff were very welcoming, lovely smiles, and friendly throughout our visit. The food and wine was exactly as we hoped....and plentiful! We will definitely be returning.
