Locale’s incarnation on Munster Road in Fulham is a more intimate version of its Southbank sibling. While the Southbank restaurant is teeming with tourists and journos, Fulham’s Locale is smaller and more relaxed. However, the great Italian food that made Locale’s name is still here in spades, as is the cocktail lounge and terrace that made the Southbank restaurant so popular, expect wonderful seasonal Italian food, great wine and a relaxing atmosphere.
Locale Fulham on Munster Road, just south of the river, is an Italian restaurant serving up dishes
inspired the executive chef Paolo Barone’s native Venezia region of Italy. All Locale restaurants have
a seasonally changing menu devised by Barone, and in changing the menu seasonally, diners can
expect to food served only with the very best, in season ingredients, a key food philosophy for
Barone. Sourcing the best of British and Italian ingredients, Locale Fulham aims to find the best in-
season ingredients from responsible suppliers that share Locale’s attitude towards food.br/>
Locale Fulham opens its doors from 12pm daily to diners looking for authentic, rustic Italian food and a specifically selected, short wine list, designed to complement the menu. For those seeking a great atmosphere, and with a smaller appetite, the cocktail lounge is a relaxing space in the restaurant’s Munster Road location for a glass or two of wine and some struzzichini, little mouthfuls of Venezian street food in good company, heaven!
I booked a table for dinner on-line an hour and a half before my booking time; and I got in straight away. My son and I enjoyed the ambience and the food was wonderful. The staff were great too. I will go to Locale, Fulham again
Very friendly and pleasant location. I had veal which didn't exactly melt in the mouth but quite tasty. The Rioca seemed to have been opened some time ago, far too harsh. But I will go back.
Good service, very good food and a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. A thoroughly enjoyable experience.
