Lovely meal and great service, great area xxx thks x
Lovely staff, delicious food but really rather small portions. We declined side dishes thinking there would be plenty, what with steak and pommes dauphinois. We had a Virgin Experience voucher and topped it up £28 to pay for the Valentine's Day package. One glass of bubbly each and a bottle of wine at £36 brought the total bill to just under £200. So we ending up paying an extra £99 which included the tip (I think on the entire amount). High on service and cost, low on value.
Had a genuine £100 marco pierre white gift voucher that was refused by restaurant manager,Alex, as (he said) the establishment was not right MPW franchise to use the gift voucher, despite the voucher stating that it could be redeemed at this particular MPW restaurant. WARNING DO NOT BUY MPW gift vouchers as there are made up "restrictions" that are not advised in the T&C's, thus in our case the voucher was not able to be used, ruining our evening.
My husbands 80z steak was OK but my Beef Wellington was excellent! Lovely service and beautiful place. I was pleased we were not put on a small table
